Coming from my first printer, the P2S, to the X2D has been extremely disappointing. Problem after problem with what is essentially the same AMS2 system. I never once had to contact Bambu Lab support with my P2S, but with the X2D it has become unavoidable. Their response was an automated request for videos and pictures — despite the fact that I had already provided them. I am not Bambu Lab’s Quality Department. It is very clear to me that this product was rushed to market without proper fine tuning or validation. One failure occurred around 65% into a print when the AMS reported it could not feed filament from Slot 3 into the extruder, wasting both time and filament. Another print failed because the system claimed it could not retract the filament. The motor kept attempting to pull it back but could not until the nozzle reheated. A printer at this price point should not require constant supervision or guesswork about whether a print will actually finish. At this point, I am returning the unit and strongly recommend that others avoid purchasing this model until these issues are properly resolved. The negative reviews being posted are absolutely legitimate. This does not feel like a finished or fully tested product, and in my opinion it should not be sold in its current state.
