I’ve been using the Acer Predator X27U OLED for a few weeks now, and it absolutely exceeded my expectations. The picture quality is stunning — deep blacks, vibrant colors, and incredibly sharp detail. The 240Hz refresh rate and near-instant response time make fast-paced games feel incredibly smooth and responsive. I also appreciate the OLED protection features like the automatic panel refresh every 4 hours — it may interrupt briefly, but it’s worth it for long-term durability. You can even run it manually, which is a nice touch. Build quality is excellent, the stand is fully adjustable, and the design is sleek and modern. Whether you’re a gamer or someone who works with visual media, I highly recommend this monitor. It’s a solid investment if you’re looking for top-tier performance and color accuracy.

The OLED experience is already amazing and at 244hz it's somehow even better. This is a gorgeous monitor, Acer has done a great job. The included stand is super sturdy but it has a large footprint so I recommend a monitor mount if you have any kind of limited desk space. I got the insignia desktop mount 35" for $35 and it's perfect.

Amazing monitor! Colors are super vibrant, blacks look perfect, and the 240Hz refresh rate makes gaming buttery smooth. Setup was quick, and FreeSync works great with my rig. Definitely worth it if you want a top-tier gaming display.

I went from a 2014 1080p monitor to this and wow the difference is insane! Initially i didn’t think i needed a new one and that i was fine with my 2014 one but it’s made my game play such much cleaner and my experience overall 1000% times better. I now see why this monitor is at its price and it’s definitely worth it.

I bought this for my main gaming PC At 1440p games look phenomenal. Even at 1080p. I like the design too; monitor has a sleek base, can angle horizontally and vertically and can even go up and down. I picked it up on sale and it was absolutely worth it.

Great value, sharp display, but OS is kinda clunky

The reviews mentioned hdmi 2.1 which is only on the new model, i even talked to support before ordering and they said i would receive the new model. I received the old model and returned it.

Impressed with this monitor. It offers all the features it lacked in early reviews seeing Acer has addressed them with this latest version. It is offering HDMI 2.1 with full bandwidth. It does perform its best in darker lit rooms. If you have a bright room, you might not appreciate the monitor. Really enjoy playing at 240hz which makes gameplay feel so effortless. If you're on the fence about 1440P OLED vs 4k, I would make the leap to 4k and you will skip this step and never look back.

After using this Acer OLED monitor for about 2 weeks, I ultimately decided it wasn’t for me. The picture quality and color right after plugging it in were worse than my LG IPS display. This was my first OLED experience, and unfortunately, it left a lot to be desired. While the price is attractive—especially on sale—the overall performance and screen quality were major letdowns. The most frustrating issue was the screen’s ghosting, which was hard to ignore. On top of that, the gray banding on dark gray screens was horrendous, making it difficult to enjoy content properly. Another major problem was the HDMI 2.1 support. I had to disable it to get decent quality from my console, which defeats the purpose of having the feature in the first place. Additionally, the monitor kept resetting my settings every time I turned it back on or even when I saved them to a mode. This was beyond frustrating, as I had to reconfigure my preferences repeatedly. The inclusion of USB-C is a nice feature, but even when connected to my MacBook, the display quality was subpar. Text and images appeared grainy or blurry, which was disappointing for productivity tasks. Overall, despite the great price, I can’t recommend this monitor. The combination of poor screen performance, frustrating firmware issues, and underwhelming connectivity makes it hard to justify—even at a discount. If this is what OLED monitors are like at this price point, I’d rather stick with a high-quality IPS or VA panel.

[Employee of bestbuy] I purchased this monitor simply because it was an OLED with 240hz and it was on sale. I am not disappointed…. It looks beautiful and is as advertised. I read the review saying it doesn’t have HDMI 2.1 and that is false. Even has an option in the settings to turn the 2.1 on/off. While it’s on sale it’s definitely worth the money.

Grabbed this monitor on sale… Great monitor. Brightness is good, oled is beautiful, design is great, adjustability is great. The USB-C port can be used for video… you enable it through the “Alt DP” input option. I’m not sure why Best Buy and Acer don’t specify this. According to my Windows 11 PC the Alt DP port supports 240 Hz? It came with several cables which was nice. It doesn’t come with a Display Port to Display Port Mini, so if you want to use that you’ll have to have one.

Solid construction, good performance. The thing everyone talks about is the pixel refresh thing that pops up and block a chunk of the display every 4 hours. It is annoying and you can’t turn it off, so that’s the big drawback. If you’re a hard core gamer, this would probably not be a good choice for you.

First monitor I purchased because it was half off and OLED. Pretty solid overall, colors are great, graphics are top notch and haven’t experienced any lag. One thing I don’t like though is that you have to reset the monitor every 4 hours or something like that to keep up with the graphics. Other than that, pretty cool monitor.

Great product great picture haven’t had any problems with burn in would recommend to anyone who wants a great 2k picture with no lag and great refresh rate definitely would buy again thinking about buying more products from them and Best Buy was quick with the shipping product was packed well 100 percent satisfied

The monitor is beautiful. With AMAZING internal speakers. Easily the best monitor I’ve ever bought. However there is a notification that comes on that always needs me to push no. And the monitor will automatically dim down. However I’m a graphic designer and need the brightness to be up so I can see all the colors clearly and perfectly. So I’ve found some work arounds but cannot find an answer to turn these functions off.

first time getting an OLED monitor and with it being half off i could not say no to giving it a try. Best decision ever. I play a ton of games, main one being call of duty. with the OLD lighting there are absolutely no dark spots i can not see enemies. Also is great for watching tv/movies on. Only part i do not like but i understand it is the 4 hour message that pops up asking to do a type of screen wipe I do this on average twice a day but the message pops up probably 3 or 4 with how much i'm at my computer.

A great OLED. Colors are vibrant like any other major brand OLED. I disagree with rtings.com. The matte screen is not noticeable to my 35 y/o eyes.

This monitor is a real game changer. The picture quality is excellent. The refresh rate of the screen is absolutely amazing. For the price it really is unbeatable.
