Does exactly what you need it to do at a better price than the big name brands. Installation was a piece of cake, took 10 minutes going slowly and carefully from removing the PS5 cover to having it formatted and ready to use. The 2TB is actually 2.05 TB, and it easily beats the minimum 5500 speeds Sony requires for a new SSD. No performance issues at all, PS4 and PS5 games play from it with without any noticeable changes in loading speeds from the console SSD. Moving files around is fast, took 5 minutes to move 500+ GB (8 games) from console to M2 storage. The only thing I can't comment on is the heatsink - I purchased a separate ElecGear heat sink and used that instead of the thin metal one that came with the Adata XPG.

Great PS5 drive.

Purchased this for my PS5. Installation was simple. The included heat spreader is super thin and doesn’t cause problems with the narrow spacing inside the ps5. It’s NOT attached at first, but it’s a simple stick-on. But by being separate, it allows you to add your own bigger heat sink if you want. If you’ve researched all of the PS5 compatible drives, you’ll see all kinds of speeds listed, but they ALL run slower than maximum, in the real world. ADATA on their own specs page says this tested as being 6100 speed in the PS5, but after install, my PS5 (disc edition) reported faster than that, 6300. Definitely recommend this drive and will be using it as the basis of an install video.

Easy to install on PS5, comes with heatsink. Price was great for a 2tb. So far the ssd is working fine. I install 10 ps5 games, they load faster. I got just above 6200 read speed when I installed it.

Ive been using this for over a month now with no problems with included heat sink installed. My read speed was 6355 mb/s. Loading games from my external was no problem. Setup to install ps5 games on this because it’s faster than the oem.

Easy install and works with PS5

I bought this mainly to be able to install other games on my PS5. I mainly play Warzone and it usually takes a lot of space in the system. The install of this SSD was pretty easy and I got 6206.12 MB/s on my system. Based on another recommendation here, I ended up ordering the SABRENT heatsink and installed that instead of the XPG one. If you are not sure how to install, there are plenty of YouTube videos online with detailed instructions.

Works great with my PS5. I only wish that there were instructions on what side the heat sink is supposed to go on. I'm not 100% sure I put it on the correct side. Other than that, It works like a dream.

The s70 blade works with the ps5. It was an easy install that consists of just two screws after you remove the ps5 cover plate. It took me less than 5 mins to complete the whole process. The SSD came with a heatsink but I opted to purchase another heatsink to add to it. After installation, it was clocked at at 6,214 mb/s. I have had no issues. The SSD has been used for 2 weeks since this review and I have had no problems with heating or any general crashing. The value for this SSD is amazing.
