It was hard to believe that they could actually improve over the original Echo but making it more compact and a choice of covers (Love the dark wood look) adding an output port to feed your sound system. And able to control many WIFI enabled units from Lights, Power Switchs, Garage Doors, with more to come. Far exceeds my hopes and needs. Can't wait to see what they do next !

Pleasantly surprised with the ease of setup and allows control of satellite TV with voice commands. Still learning all the possibilities, setting up a couple of awkward electrical outlets now. I should have bought earlier!

Was just looking to add another Echo to the house. The new version didn’t disappoint. It’s compact, new color looks nice, no sacrifice on sound quality as well.

This is never ending entertainment. Easy to setup. Great sound ands world of information at your command.

I love how many things you can do with device from asking it the weather, sport scores, how big it the earth, track my package from Amazon, controlling lights in the house, etc. This is a great voice activated device. You can play songs from Amazon music, control your Fire stick to find movies, etc. with your voice. Great product, good sound, and it has a ton of skills in the app you can add.

I decided to replace the dot that was in my office with this new Echo. My other echo is in the Living room and I've enjoyed it for a year now, so getting another was not a hard decision. What I liked with this 2nd generation Echo was that I got it with the walnut sleeve to match the wood furniture in the office.

as owner of 5 previous echos(2original,2 dots, and 1show)i looked forward to a new and improved version.having read reviews of this new one ,i was a little apprehensive about the sound quality.the sound. to my ears,the sound is at least as good as original models.the quickness of the response time to queries is very fast. i am satisfied with price($99) and do recommend whenever i can.

Beautiful, sounds great, fun and useful. If Amazon gets all the bugs fixed with Alexa they’d get 5 stars from me!!!

I have been looking to purchase this product for a while now but i was sceptical. But now that i have it, i love the interaction with Alexa and how she is learning wat i like. Giving her my demand and her doing it or asking me a question is pretty cool

We love our Echo with Oak finish. The Echo’s voice technology is superb and get’s all our voices right the first time. It replaced our clock radio in our bedroom. The oak finish really gives it a higher end look.

My first one of these and I love it. Picks up voice commands easily and has good sound quality for a small device. Glad I waited for the 2nd Generation.

This was a gift for my parents who just remodeled their house. The color is very elegant looking and would go well with any decor.

Echo is the best thing since sliced bread. It is so easy to activate and use. We will give us endless enjoyment and entertainment.

I bought one, at a great price, here, and then bought two more, I love them !! The sound is clear, the music I play every day, in all the rooms, best things I bought, very happy with them, and the set up, took all of maybe 5 minutes !!
