I love reading books, but like them in Russian language, so it’s very hard and expensive to find and buy them here. I was thinking between regular Kindle and Paperwhite. Choose this one because it’s bigger and had much more positive reviews. I have had it for over than a month and I’m so happy. Already read 8 books. I downloaded a lot of books, different fonts. There are so many things you can do to make your reading comfortable. I also found free websites for downloading books. It’s so much cheaper and easier to read now. My eyes are not tired. I have to charge it once per 2 month!! So grateful for having Kindle Paperwhite in my life ❤️

This is an excellent update to my 2018 Kindle Paperwhite. Pros: It has a larger screen than the previous generation. It uses USB-C to charge which means I can use the same cord for my iPad mini and this device. The warmth light feature is something I absolutely adore. I included a picture with the warmth turned all the way up on the new kindle at 15 percent brightness and my 2018 kindle at 15 percent brightness. It makes a huge difference to my reading enjoyment. But never fear you can turn it off if you hate it. The device speed is WAY snappier. This is my 3rd paperwhite and I was so disappointed that the 2018 model moved so slowly. While my computer and tablet are still way faster there is a notable increase in the speed at which my books open and the pages turn. This decreased the time it took to add my books to collections as well. Cons: it’s heavier and larger than the previous model. It’s not enough to be a deal breaker. In fact, I love the screen size, and it actually fits more comfortably in my hand. The on button is still at the bottom. While I rarely accidentally turn my kindle off due to the case I use, some users do find this really annoying. I still miss the text to speech feature that my original kindle had. I prefer reading over listening to books but sometimes when I have to be on the move or when I’m cooking it’s a nice feature to be able to turn on. But again, this feature has been missing on several generations of kindles now and I still love them. Also, it does not come with a wall adapter. It just has the cord. I have plenty of adapters but it is worth noting for those who do not. Overall, this is a huge upgrade from my 2018 paperwhite model. The speed increase alone makes it worth the upgrade. But the added ability to change the warmth and the USB-C charging capabilities are just icing on the cake. If you haven’t upgraded in awhile or even if you have recently picked up the previous model, this model is still worth the upgrade in my opinion.

Love the warm light for evening reading. Like the touch screen (my 10-yr old kindle didn’t have either of these) - Enjoying the slightly bigger display screen. Of course- adjustable text sizes are great. It was very easy to set up. Back to long battery life. What’s not to love about the new paper-white.

If you love to read and like to read at night this is very easy on the easy it doesnt hurt your vision at night and the warm light helps with that. This is my first kindle and im very much in love with it. Reading is so much better with this its so light weight and easy to use.

Upgraded from the basic kindle 11th gen to kindle paperwhite 11th gen. Battery life is good on both but if you read a lot I definitely recommend the paperwhite. Bigger screen & waterproof is a huge plus. Absolutely love it.

So easy to use and lightweight, too. Loved this device especially when we travelled. No need to use a light as it has adjustable warm and cool settings that help relax the eyes. The adjustable font size is convenient if I’m not wearing my glasses.

First kindle I have ever bought. It certainly makes reading more fun and informative, I can just long press on a word and quickly get the definition. The brightness and warm light settings are very beneficial when reading in different lighting. The battery lasts a long time. Adding books to the kindle is very easy and… inexpensive. Bought it on sale for like $110. I like my kindle very much, will read again.

Have had mine paperwhite for over a year and still obsessed. Battery life is great, speed is great and I love that I can change the warmth to not strain my eyes. Buying one for my son who is slowly turning into avid reader.

The best purchase i have made on Best Buy I love my amazon Kindle paperwhite, I improved my reading habits, it is so convenient, the perfect size to carry in my purse, anywhere, I no longer need to keep the light on at night to read, and my husband appreciates it. the best

I love my Amazon - Kindle Paperwhite reader. It stays charged for a long time and quickly recharges when needed. The paperwhite screen is easy to read, even in the sun, which is what I need. The features are intuitive, so this is a good reader for anyone to use.=]

Glad to have a Kindle again! I had a Kindle Oasis for about three years until I sold it about 6 months ago. At the time, I am too busy to read and it was just collecting dust. So, sold it to someone who would be able to benefit from using it more than me. Shortly after I sold it. I wish I hadn’t sold it. Then I was on YouTube and I learned about this new model released. For the price point (on sale for $99), it was a no brainer. So I went to Best Buy and I picked one up for myself. I have to say, I love it more than the Oasis. First of all, it’s lighter and USB-C charging!! It also has practically the same features as the Oasis did and at a significant fraction of the cost. It is personally more comfortable in my hand than the Oasis and it also has the same features. It has adjustable warm light and it’s water proof! To me, it also seems to be faster and smoother. It is well designed and light in hand. I had to get a TPU case for it for extra protection and for a better grip. A case is not required; just personal preference I suppose. At the end of the day, I am glad everything worked out. I am back to reading again and just love this new Kindle Paperwhite. I highly recommend it!!

Bought it for my niece for her birthday since she had been wanting one, I’ve used it as well and now I want one for myself! It’s slim and portable and the battery will last a long time

I love that it was already half charged when opened. Easy to launch and set up my library. My husband appreciates that I don't need a night light for reading anymore. I can't do half stars, so the only reason this isn't 5 stars is that I wish the screen had a protector or coating preventing oil transfer from fingertips. Minor annoyance though and I likely just need to search the screen protectors...

Purchasing this kindle (at the inclination of a few friends) has been one the best tech purchases I’ve made in a long time. I used to be an avid reader as a teen, but haven’t read for leisure in over 15 years. This changed that. Between renting digital books from my local library through Libby, the ability to read at night, resize & reshape text to my preference and the thin & light form factor, I’ve officially loved my journey back into reading. I’ve read 4 books already in just one month of ownership, and I’m excited to continue reading. Whether you’re an avid reader, new to reading or looking to get back into it, I can’t recommend the kindle enough. Go forth, be immersed. Get your read on.

My first Kindle and couldn't be happier with the purchase. I've been entertaining the idea of getting an e-reader and since purchasing this Kindle, I've been reading almost daily. The battery life is top-notch and with the airplane mode on, the battery lasts about a month for me. Also, it's the ideal screen size, large enough to feel like you're holding a physical book and small enough to fit in your pockets. Adjustable warm light is a nice addition.

Love it! It is lightweight and I've been using it every day. It was easy to travel with and doesn't take up much space.
