Works as intended and cooks perfectly and heat up water fast with one, if you use 2 at same time it’s wicked fast heating up.

I love to sous vide and used the previous model often. I saw a great promotion on this one and decided to upgrade. The number one thing you will notice is this warms the water much faster. There is a noticeable difference in how long it takes to bring the water up to temp. Quality wise this feels like an improvement as well. The water flow spot on the bottom of the unit has also been greatly improved.

Excellent—And we’re new at this! We made the most amazing prime rib twice already, and also some juicy and delicious pork chops. Re IEPs are easy to find online. This sous vide is incredibly easy to use. You can plug in and it is easy to figure out. My husband and I would recommend this to anyone looking into trying out sous vide cooking. We look forward to many years of enjoyment.

This has been an enjoyable kitchen gadget to say the least, and I’m still learning techniques, etc, but in terms of doing what it says it will do: cook sous vide effortlessly, well it’s not wrong. I’ve found recipes on the app from Anova and with this gem, it’s as easy as hitting a button on my phone to have meat cooked to perfection. I had read comments earlier about problems with the device connecting to the internet, and I’ve not had any issues. Definitely the best way to make a rare steak!

I've had the Anova Pro for a year and it's excellent! It's fast became a workhorse in our kitchen, salmon, steaks, upside down cheesecakes, rib-eye roast, chicken, stuffed turkey breast, everything cooks to perfection because the food will only cook as high as the temperature of the water. I just bought this one for my daughter, who is longing to get one but it's out of her price range right now. If you love to cook then this is the perfect kitchen partner for you. Absolute 5 star appliance.

I love using sous vide for all sorts of meals. Of course it will make great steaks, but have also made fantastic veggies (glazed carrots, garlic and rosemary mashed potatoes, ginger and coconut mashed sweet potatoes, etc.), breakfast items (soft boiled eggs), and even deserts (Crème Brule). Anova has several good sous vide devices that are nice because you can set temps and times manually if your phone isn't handy (or they stop upgrading the product...) This particular model is top of the line so it is higher powered which isn't necessary but certainly helpful when cooking things at higher temperatures. If you purchase, you should also purchase a container with a lid to help reduce water evaporation and keep temperatures higher.

If you are in the market for a sous vide machine, look no further. I got this bad boy in a Mother’s Day sale for an extraordinary price. I love the Anova Nano so much that I upgraded from the Anova Nano to the Precision Pro in only 1 month. I must say, the Pro is well worth the extra cost. It heats the water to the target temp twice as fast and it can handle much larger cuts of meat. At this price point, you are getting a professional grade kitchen tool that blows all other brands out of the water.

I’ve had three Anova cookers over the years and this is by far the best. Nice and quiet compared to the current regular Anova. Heats quick and connects well.

I bought the Precision Cooker Pro after a recommendation of Anova by several co-workers. The Pro model was worth the extra cost to me to reduce the time it takes to get the water to temperature. I’ve primarily cooked steaks with my Cooker Pro to this point, but have also used it for a pork loin. As promised, all have come out to exact temperature and doneness. I’ve yet to experience any disappointment with the Cooker Pro.

All Anova units are a royal pain to get connected to the WiFi. This is my second unit and it took repeated attempts to connect. I’ve been working in IT and with networks since 1986. I have little to no trouble with other new products to connect them to WiFi. Once you get past the connection issues, the Anova, especially the Pro heats quick and maintains the temperature perfectly. Reconnecting to the network is hit or miss, but plugging in the unit then launching the App last, works best.

While I have not used a prior Sous vide. This kitchen device has worked well. While it may be a bit much for me, I liked the reviews that confirmed it heats up extremely fast, which it did. The wattage was the highest one I could find. Plus it maintained temperature really well. I used it in a standard pot (must be really large to have enough water along with enough room for the meal\fish you are cooking. I have not connected to WiFi, nor plan to use this feature because it is necessary.

Only used it once so far, but it worked great. I made a steak—it was amazing. There is a little learning curve, but as a non-cooker never trusted myself making a steak. This helps take the guesswork out of preparation.
