Arlo Cramer’s are the way to go. I’ve been using them for years and hardly ever have any issues with them. I feel like they’re the best cameras out on the market. We use them at three different properties.

I have the Arlo 2’s and had high hopes for this camera and it has fallen way short. It doesn’t start recording a car until it’s right in front of it if at all. It missed the huge fed ex van completely!! I have angled and moved it closer and still nothing. The door camera which is further away will spot it, and I waited for the Arlo essential to go off but it doesn’t. It will catch the dog running more than people or cars. Photo is when it finally caught movement!

These cameras are absolutely fantastic. My only complaint is that after I bought them, Best Buy raised the price 57%. So when I went to buy more, the price was ridiculous comparatively. I asked if they would price match my original purchase and was told no.

Positives - Battery charge lasts for weeks to months. They can be taken down for charging on a normal USB-C. You can program zones into each camera, so they know when to trigger an alarm to prevent a false alarm from a neighbor mowing their lawn. It does come with 2 way voice, so you can talk to the questionable person. You can also trip a strobbing and alarm sounding alert at the camera to chase the possible criminal away. There is also a free trial that you can sign up for but not needed. There are options to Disarm, Arm at home or arm away just like a normal burglary alarm system. Camera feeds get sent to the phone via the Arlo app. They do come with Outdoor wall-mounts that do require anchors and screws which do come in the packaging. There is not a 3-M adhesives. Negative - Sometimes these little guys can false alarm. Either by an animal or wasp flying by the camera. Also, if you have a weed control problem, they can trip as well. Due to the ever extensive long battery life, they will take a very long time to charge. If I remember correctly, I witnessed a charge time of 4 hours for less than 10% battery life.

Great security system. It has all the features you could want. It was easy to install and the quality that I expected.

Very good quality picture and sound. Battery to hold up well although we don’t leave it on all the time.

Great cameras, but the Internet connection and software is quite glitchy and takes sometimes an unacceptable amount of time to connect to the camera to view once you’ve received an alert

Great quality at a nice price point. We have a set for both of our properties and they do the job when needed. At one of our properties, the cameras are facing north and take the brunt of the weather coming off of the lake and I have not had to charge the battery in the last 14 months with the first set I ordered and this was my second set from Best Buy.

I have some older Arlo cameras and thought I would add some newer ones. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize you no longer get the 7 days of free cloud storage. I would even be happy with 24 hours for a saved video- but come on. I wish I looked into this a little more because I would NOT have purchased. The cameras are fine. My busiest camera keeps about a month charge. I’m very disappointed with the fact you have to have a subscription. I really don’t need a notification just to be told “ you found a premium feature”, and it can’t be viewed. If you just want to watch a live feed- that’s about all they are good for without a subscription. Wish I could return. I will not be purchasing subscription.

These work good and as advertised . Lighting is great at night. Best microphones on a camera

Cameras, easy to connect to Arlo hub, camera video is very clear, battery life seems to be pretty good.

These cameras are simple to install and set up. The app allows you to create your own system in minutes. The clarity of the cameras is exceptional. I have tried others and these blow them away!

These cameras were super easy to set up. The app walks you through installing them. I love the camera quality, and the app is user-friendly.

I recently bought the Arlo Essential XL Outdoor Security Camera (3rd Gen) from Best Buy and I’m really happy with it. The 2K resolution video is sharp and clear, even at night, and the app makes it easy to watch live footage and get motion alerts right on my phone.

Disappointing! I had Arlo several years ago. The cameras lasted a long time, it was the hub that went. I wanted to try another brand (Blink, not a fan), but decided to return to Arlo. My fault I didn't read the fine print, you now have to subscribe to a plan to get the cameras to record (previously they saved to the cloud). Minimum plan is $19/mo. Basically, these are only good for watching what's going on when they alert, they don't record. Lived with that for a couple of months, but now the cameras go offline - everyday. I have charged them, removed and reinstalled them, updated the firmware, yet everyday they go offline. I called tech support, they were no help, told me to do everything I have already done. They connect for a few minutes, a few hours, but eventually go offline. Arlo says it's my internet, nothing else goes offline but their product. I'm frustrated and disappointed.

Great product, used on the outside of my home, to provide servillince when i'm away from home, and to see what's going on on the outside of my home, when i'm home, so i know who's at my door before answering the knock on the door, keeps me safe.

These cameras will complete the coverage of any home, various position options and long battery life

Says the second said I purchased it is so much easier than changing the battery every couple months on the older version

So easy to connect and install! They work great with my other unit

excellent product i recomended a 100%. the quality of the video and live streem is amazing
