Inexpensive and easy to install. Used to add a second monitor to a friends PC. This one is well made - mounts properly and great signal. I have purchased others of poor quality that didn't screw on properly or gave a bad picture.

I've been working on getting an "antique" computer running lately. It's been something of a conundrum - the GPU outputs include DVI-I, DVI-D, and HDMI; while the monitor only has DisplayPort and VGA inputs. Out of all of the cables I've tried, this is the only thing that's worked to get that machine running. And honestly, it works great. The picture on the monitor is crisp and clear at 1920x1080, and the machine itself doesn't seem to have any issues with the adapter. The monitor recognizes everything just fine as well. While this isn't necessarily an "ideal" part to have to include in your build, I will say that it is far from a "bandaid fix" - it's something reliable that will just work without configuration and will stay out of sight and out of mind until you start fiddling around behind the computer. If you're stuck in a similar situation, go for one of these: they're super cheap, and they work great.

Worked for my purpose. I'm using an old crt monitor as a secondary monitor.

Worked really well. It was easy to use. Just fitted the connector together and hey presto I could get my old monitor to work with my newer computer. It saved me a lot of money and let me reuse an old monitor.

Does what it is supposed to do. Low budget purchase to help get the extended time out of your monitor when old cables are hard to find.
