Easily the best headphones I have used, and I have used them all. The original Bose AE2w were really comfortable and the BT connection was solid. Noise cancelation was not an option and battery life on the little BT dongle was awful. Beats Studio Wireless headphones entered the scene and they were really good. Sound was excellent. Noise cancelation was solid. Overall I liked them but they were uncomfortable to wear for longer periods. Enter these QC35s. They are simply the best. The angled driver allows the cup to fit around the ear better (even for those with ears that don't stick out). Where others (Beats, TurtleBeach) use a snug fit to achieve some passive noise cancelation Bose seems to forgo most of that and rely on the active noise cancelation. The sound is great, fit is great, and they can be worn for hours without discomfort. Noise cancelation is on par with every other Bose and competitor so no issues there. Companion app makes it easier to sync the headphones with multiple devices (although I wish there was an app for my Macbook). Added bonus these fold into a more flat configuration rather than the bubble that the Beats do. Easier fit into travel bags.

I needed some new bluetooth headphones for studying in the library and for use when traveling. These Bose headphones are awesome. I did not realize they were noise cancelling when I bought them, but when I wear them at home while doing homework, I am unable to even hear my husband or kids calling for me, so that is awesome! They don't think so though... I did hear some noise coming through at the library the other day, but I think that was because it was a group of like 4 people talking very loud and they walked right behind me, and I was only listening quietly to classical music. I got these black Friday weekend, and they were $20 off, But let me say I would have gotten them even if they were not on sale. I did not get the second generation of these, because I have an iPhone and I don't use google assist. I believe if you LOVE MUSIC, you have to give Bose headphones, speakers a try. You will be very pleased!!

I generally haven't liked anything Bose has made in years, except for their vintage audio gear. These headphones come with a USB cable to charge them, a 3.5mm cable to use if you don't want to use bluetooth in a nice semi-hard carrying case. These headphones are the most comfortable ones that I've been able to wear all day without hurting after just an hour or so. I've been able to use them for several days without needing to charge them. The noise-cancelling works well without completely blocking out someone next you talking. I'm very surprised how much noise I've been having to tune out when I've switched the noise-canceling off. I can't wait to use these headphones on my next flight.

Being an owner of the Bose SoundLink 2 wireless headphones for close to a year now, I wanted to give my 1st impressions after picking this up from Best Buy a day ago. I've ALWAYS wanted Bose's active noise-canceling (ANC) headphones, but they only had the QC25 wired at the time, and I had to have a wireless headphone, so I picked up the SoundLink 2 (as I use my headphone to drown out the traffic-noise and noisy neighbors all around my apartment). I already have a Sony MDR-10RNC ANC headphone, but I'm tethered to wires, and their ANC isn't that great (I can still hear a majority of the traffic outside, and there's that signature noticeable hissing sound found in almost all ANC headphones I've tried). When I heard news of the QC35, I was super excited. After using it to watch two horror movies with tons of bass, YouTube videos, and music; I'm confident to say I like this better than my SoundLink 2. I expected the sound to be the same, but the bass on the QC35 is "tighter" - as if I had my 300W Boston Acoustic subwoofer running on low-volume. The SoundLink's bass is pretty weak and flat. The high's and mid's are just as crisp, and I have no pairing issues like my SoundLink 2 (I gave the SoundLink 2 a not-so-favorable review because of the pairing issues). I was also surprised by the construction because it's not all plastic like the SoundLink 2 - surprised because I was expecting the $70 premium over the SoundLink 2 only adds ANC inside. The QC35 has metal (such as the ear-cup plate where the "Bose" logo sits on). The QC35 is only $70 more than the SoundLink 2, but you get much more than ANC - better materials, almost 2x battery life over SoundLink2, a full headband, better case, and ANC. The ANC is really NICE because as I'm writing this at 3 PM Sunday sitting next to my windows (tons of traffic outside my apartment since I live next to a large mall) with the QC35 on my head without any sound playing through it, the traffic noise is almost non-existent - can only hear the occasional Harley Davidson that whizzes by. Is the $350 price-tag worth it? It depends. In my situation, a definite YES because it feels fantastic to be able to relax in my apartment on a lazy Sunday without my eardrums being bombarded by traffic noise and the noisy neighbors. I'm also not destroying my eardrums or getting music-fatigue by playing my music loud or watching Youtube for hours on end to drown out the outside noise - so the long-term health benefits of my hearing are priceless. Lastly, a reviewer mentioned that the QC35 weighs ~60% more than the SoundLink2 wireless - which may make some people hesitate on the purchase if they're keen on comfort. Either he doesn't know basic math, his scale is messed up, or he is just purely throwing out random numbers. My digital scale shows the SoundLink2 wireless as being 200 grams, and the QC35 at 235 grams. The QC35 weighs 18% more, but if I didn't have a digital scale to measure the weight, I could've sworn they considered the same. Other physical differences - on the SoundLink 2, the battery and Bluetooth icon lights up - something I found refreshing (SoundLink 2 is on the left). On the QC35, there is merely an LED light shining next to the battery and Bluetooth indicator - just something I wanted to point out.

I've been researching headphones since I had a pair or wireless headphones that was a gift for me back in 2014 and they lasted about a year and a half till they started to go out, they were Bluetooth headphones by Vivitar from Sears and I bought a pair of wired Kraken headphones by Razer from BestBuy but since I recently rented an iPhone 7 Plus I couldn't use it naturally since it doesn't have a 3.5mm headphone jack and I didn't wanna be carrying the adapter that connected to the Lightning port that came with the phone and this was the pair of Headphones since I actually saw the QC 25 but I waited and didn't buy these till February and ever since I have been using them I've been extremely satisfied knowing I use them a lot and well pleased by the sound, quality, durability (I even sleep with them) comfort and portability; my only wish was this used USB Type-C and a reversible 3.5mm connector on both sides instead of using a smaller one on the headphones themselves. Besides those two things, I have very satisfied with it and only issue I've had was when I connect them to my Apple TV gen 4 which I also recently bought; the sound seems to break but not sure if they are the headphones, the Apple TV or even my tv which I've had since 2013 and bought it from Walmart (worst store to buy tech) but over all these are the best headphones I have used (only wish they had more color pontoons besides the boring black and grumbling grey) but still nice headphones and I do recommend them for anyone looking for durable, comfortable and quality headphones.

I purchased the Bose SoundLink II first and then ordered this QuietComfort 35 in Silver on the same day. I received the QC 35 first and had plenty of time to try it out over the weekend. It was a so easy to sync the QC35 to my Apple devices, and the MacBook will release to my IPhone and as others have stated the headset is better than the phone speaker system. The iPad Air 2 and iPhone 6 Plus both hand off to each other also. I was pretty sure I had received the right one first for it's features met all my needs. I received the Bose SoundLink II today and after trying them on was disappointed with the fit was in comfortable on me. As well as not having the noise cancelling feature which made my choice easy. So if my daughter likes the SoundLink II, I will pass them on to her. They are nicely made and a quality Product, just not for me. Otherwise I will be returning to Best Buy for another QuietComfort 35. Now I know she wants to go wireless! And having the added range of the Bluetooth as well as the battery life makes them more desirable as I run out of the house, and can keep my Bluetooth connection every time ~ It is amazing!

Awesome sound on this head set. Truely comfortable to wear and Bluetooth capable, is great if you want to connect to computer also has a Jack that is long enough to where it isn't jerking your head every time you turn. One word tells it all AWSOME!!!!!

These things are awesome. So comfortable. Night and day difference when you turn on noise cancelling. All I can say is to try them on, that's all it took to sell me on them. The Bluetooth feature has been cool. This is the first pair I've owned like this (coming from the HiFi world). The sound quality is awesome, though I'm sure drowning out the background noise like that is the biggest part. They work great unpowered through the provided audio cord too, if you want. They also fold up fairly nice and lay flat. I do wish they folded up into themselves into a ball though. That and the price are the only things I'd change. I was a little scared at first to even bring these out of the house. Overall a great purchase though. You can really find your own private space in these things.

I'm gonna get straight to the point. You can wear them all day without feeling discomfort. The sound is amazing as is the noise canceling. I bought them for a ten hour flight to Hawaii, the y worked great then and every day ever since. I use them for everything: music, movies, PlayStation headphones, talking on the phone, etc. You will never go back to wired headphones after you try these.

This is so far he best headphones I have used for a number of reasons: aside from having a great sound, it's wireless tech has made it so convenient to use; it is really comfortable on my head and it is indeed quiet as it cancels the noise around me...I work with airplanes a lot and it's like the engine planes around me were all turned off when I have it on me...I hope the batteries would last so I can use it for a long time coz I may not be able to afford one again so soon! I highly recommend this product!!!

This pair of phones is the best purchase I’ve made in recent years. Noise cancellling is spot on and I️ don’t have pressure problems when I️ fly. Bose got this right and then some. Very happy with this purchase.

I love these Bose QC35 mainly because of the build, the sound quality and the active noise cancellation. Build is fantastic compare to most headphones in the market. These headphones give you the feeling that they are definitely worth the money as for the look and build. Bose has its unique, clean and great sound. It is perfect for acoustic, vocal, and instrument music. As a college student, I need these headphones to study in my busy and loud apartment. It totally blocks the world from intruding my quite space. Battery is excellent. I charge them once a week. The only one disadvantage is these headphones get warm easily surround my ears, and sometimes I have to take them off for a moment before the discomfort gets in the way. Overall, these Bose headphones are absolutely great for busy college student like me and the price is not too bad for such sound quality.

Never owned a pair of Bose before but glad I made the purchase. The QC35s are amazing in sound and the noise cancellation is the best I have ever experienced. Comfort is definitely top notch and very light while wearing. No doubt these are some of the best sounding, comfortable and most clear headphones I have ever owned. I would recommend these to everyone looking for a great pair of mid-range headphones.

QC35 has great sound and the noise cancellation does a great job. I am very impressed with the battery backup and the ability to charge without having to replace with AAA batteries. The voice prompts are good.. Tells the battery levels and what device(s) are connected. I would say this is a great buy considering the QC35 is priced $50 more than the wired QC25 and then you have the cost of replacing batteries.

My first impression of these headphones out of the box is that they feel very well constructed. These come with a carrying case, auxiliary cable, charging cable, and an audio port for airplanes (forgive my lack of term here). The charging cable is really short, but it will work if you are charging these headphones up with your computer. You could probably get away with using a longer charging cable if you have one. The headphones come with a quick guide to get you started with some other detailed instructions/features listed inside. Some of the other features include using the headphones to clear all devices for the headset, changing the language, and managing multiple connections at once. I tested the BlueTooth with these headphones on an iPhone 6S Plus, iPad (3rd Generation), Acer Iconia tablet (Android) and a MacBook (late 2008). All of these worked well and didn’t have any issues getting these devices connected. There is an app that you can download which can also help with pairing your devices, settings, etc. When you put on the headphones and turn them on, it will say the battery percentage, which is awesome. On my iPhone and iPad, there was a battery status symbol next to it, so I was able to see where it was at. There is also an LED indicator on the headphones themselves, so you can check them on there as well. Let’s talk about the sound quality. I think that these headphones sound awesome. I listen to a wide range of music, so I made sure to test this out with rock, metal (of all sub-genres), punk, rap, and post-rock (instrumental). The bass on these headphones isn’t too much and sound great! Overall, I think that the sound quality of these headphones are awesome and I don’t have any issues with them. Even when I used the auxiliary cable and plugged them into my turntable, it sounded awesome. The headphones really do a great job at blocking out the background noise. When the battery is low, the background noise will stop working, so that’s one thing to keep in mind. You can still hear some louder noises, but it was so quiet that I can’t hear myself type this review and I didn’t hear my wife come in the door. They are very comfy and fit with no issues. I can see myself wearing these for a long time without having “tired” ears. This is important for me because there are times were I listen to music with headphones for hours while cleaning or working on something. Overall, I would recommend these headphones. They are not too big and fit very well. The sound quality and noise cancellation are amazing and if you’re in the market for wireless headphones, I can’t recommend these enough.

What can I say about these wireless hewdbones. They are Awesome!! Great sound quality, they paired with my 7 plus seamlessly and I couldn't be more happy.

It does exactly what it claims to do. My husband got me these as our aniversary gift and I love them. I use them all the time to tune out the kids. They very light and comfortable. I love how easy it it to switch the Bluetooth between devices. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because I wish the range was a bit farther.

These headphones are awesome I can use them without using any wires so they don't get in the way. Plus I can't hear anything when they are on.

Bose proves once again why they are the one with a target on their back. Build quality, function and sound quality are second to none on the Bose QC 35. As a background comparison, I have previously owned earbuds for the most part but I have had a pair of Monster DNA on-ear headphones for the past couple of years along with some Sennheiser over the ear wireless headphones that are connected to the PS4. So I have some history with large headphones and I have sampled the Beats headphones at the store. Honestly, I've never had headphones that have as much range and clarity as the QC 35. During my review of these I played Rap, Classic Rock, Modern Rock, Country, EDM (techno for the older crowd), Acoustic rock, live concerts and Reggae! Every type of music I tried seemed suited to these headphones. The bass wasn't overwhelming like on other brands. Vocals were crisp and it seemed like I could hear instruments I never noticed before on the music. If you prefer more bass, it's easy enough to add. I went into my Google Music Player and adjusted the bass setting to max. It added the thump I wanted on some songs but it still didn't overpower everything else. As far as build quality, these things are solid but lightweight. Material is primarily plastic but these do not feel cheap. The leather on the headphones is incredibly soft and comfortable against the skin. There is a small cushion on the inside top of the headband for further comfort. Yet these sit relatively close to the head for over the ear headphones which is nice. Bose was also nice enough to put a big R and L on the mesh inside the headphones so you know which way they go. The headphones come nicely packaged. When you open the QC35 box you'll see a leather carrying case that is surprisingly small. When you open it you see why. Bose has found and created a specific way to fold these headphones to take up minimal space. Inside the carrying case is also a double prong airplane adapter. Airplane has a more modern jack? No problem, one of the prongs folds down to give you a single 90 degree adapter. Also in the case is a USB A/ USB B adapter to charge the headphones because the rechargeable battery is built in compared to prior models that ran on a AAA battery. If that concerns you, I can tell you that I have not charged these since I got them. When I first turned them on the voice told me they were at 70%. After about 2 hours of listening to music at a pretty good volume and also making some calls and trying out the different ways to connect them to my phone....I'm only at 60%. So I'm assuming that they drain in the 5% per hour range. I wasn't able to kill the battery but previous versions have allowed you to continue using the headphones, albeit not with as great of sound, once the battery was dead by using the included headphone wire. Setup was simple. If you have a phone that is NFC enabled, just make sure NFC and Bluetooth are turned on, then tap the edge of right headphone against your phone. You'll hear a confirmation voice prompt and you're on your way. If you don't have NFC, the bluetooth setup is also easy. Just push the power button over to the right and it will activate the bluetooth scan before snapping back into the On position. My phone picked it up within seconds. There are some other buttons on the headphones that used to be on an inline cable on previous iterations of the Quiet Comfort line. Volume Up and Down are on the back of the right earphone. They are separated by a multi-function button. This will pause music if hit once and also un-pause if you tap it again; skip to the next track if you double click it; and answer the incoming phone call if you have call audio enabled. There is also a built in microphone. I tested this feature and the audio was clear with no complaints on the other end about voice quality. One other quick note on phone calls, if a call comes in the music will automatically pause and automatically resume once the call is done or once you ignore the call. If you work in an office cubicle environment that allows headphones or you travel a lot, these are remarkable. Even if you're not playing music, the active noise cancelling is a huge feature for me. I'm not sure what else I can tell you about the Bose Quiet Comfort 35. If you've never owned a pair of Bose headphones and have been on the fence because you didn't want to use a wired connection to your phone or an inline mic for making calls, then here you go. If you've owned Bose, you know the quality. These are, simply put, the best headphones I have ever put on my head and I would recommend these to anyone and everyone.
