I wanted this clock radio for a long time. Couldn't bring myself to spend the $500.00 for it tho. When I saw it on sale at Best Buy I had to go for it. It exceeded my expectations. Sure the Bose sound is fantastic but I appreciated the ease of set up for my favorite stations. I was a bit worried that reception would be an issue since I'm in a rural area but it is not a factor. So impressed I bought another Bose Wave Radio IV. On sale of course.

After eliminating need for wifi capability,decided to stick with basic radio Wave IV. Radio has all positive features highlighted in reviews: easy to setup/use,excellent sound and appearance;use of highly functional, compact Bose remote for presets. All in all, a superior product.

I love this radio. I can turn it on in the back room and hear it all through the house. Best sound ever!

This is one amazing sounding box. You can adjust the bass and treble it sounds awesome with any type music. I use this with Pandora and a Rocket Fish blu-tooth device. I take it all over the House. I highly recommend.

The radio has excellent sound and is very user friendly. It can accommodate other devices to get your favorite music instantly.

Bose makes great products , but a bit expensive.. I use this radio in the bedroom and it has very good sound. Remote is easy to us. I wanted unit that has Wi-Fi but cost was too much for me.

My new Bose radio brings a richness of sound that I have not had before. I am very happy with it.

Bose is known for their fantastic sound reproduction, and this radio is no exception

I thought I would share my experience with the Bose WAVE radio IV. The radio has it's purpose and I could not find a decent alternative for what I wanted. It is the first Bose I have owned since the old 321 system I am not totally unhappy with it. It does have decent sound, but I expected better. I compared it to my Yamaha micro system in my home office and they sounded very similar. I wanted two alarms for the bedroom, so I bought the Bose for that room. Except for a smaller footprint, that is about the only benefit I can see for it. I also would have liked to use it for the TV, but could not find the universal remote code and when the alarm goes off, it permanently switches from AUX back to radio. I finally gave up and only use it as an expensive alarm clock. Here are some Pros and cons that I could see: Pros: Decent sound, compact and nice looking, display for the radio station playing, two alarms. Cons: Expensive, no battery backup for alarm. No frills like a built in CD, IPOD doc, USB, wireless. The controls were removed, so you have to use the remote with the exception of a hand touch to snooze the alarm and turn it on and off. The remote is not backlit, so difficult to use in bedroom when dark. Like my old 321, I feel I received little value for the price.

My first Bose Wave lasted 18 years, was devastated when it died. Went two months with another alarm/radio, but could not tolerate the inferior sound. The quality of sound makes it sooo much more pleasant to wake up to in the mornings, thus a better day all around. It may be the basic model, but is great. Thanks you Bose and Best Buy!

Clear sound. Has more bass then I thought, but over all sound not as loud as I thought. Bluetooth sound is about 2/3 of FM sound and had to order a tune trapper antenna to get clear FM.

This radio replaced a two decade old dial tuner which had trouble with interference from nearby channels. This Bose radio picks up all the channels that we normally listen to without interference and is crystal clear.

This is my second bose radio in 40 years. I love this radio It has touch on /off feature and you can add 's player, speaker, and headphones
