Perfect gift for my wife. She loves how simple it is to use.

I purchased this machine because it was the same model a friend had. It does a nice job of embroidering on a small scale. It can do a 4x4 size embroidery with the software. Artspira is 12.99 a month and they have a lot of options but you can’t do much unless you buy the subscription, honestly, from a beginner perspective. I think the subscription has been worth it so far. You can buy embroidery patterns off Etsy supposedly. I haven’t used the dual sewing machine feature but I’m sure it’s fine, I have a Brother sewing machine that my eldest now uses and they are good sewing machines. I’ve broke one needle on this machine somehow and it wasn’t a big deal, easily replaced. The thread has bunched once in the bobbin, unsure why, but easy to fix and hasn’t done it again. It does pay to watch it and not walk away in case a stitch error occurs or a thread breaks. You have the ability to go back in increments of ten stitches in case of thread errors which has been a lifesaver to pick back up in the pattern and start embroidering again. The process is not without fault. I think it’s a good starter machine, a good small hobby machine for someone who doesn’t want to make it a business.

Great starter machine. Not the best if you are wanting to make bigger designs. Bought to make designs on my toddlers clothes and it did the job!
