It has consumed much of my free time in the last month. Beware of the Zombies if you have kids around. Scared the cr_p out of my daughter. Especially playing on a 155" full HD projection screen!

COD WWII does an amazing job at finally bringing back the original realism and action that brought on its popularity. The campaign and multiplayer revisits similar mechanics, weapons, and scorestreaks as previous CODs, especially COD II and WAW. The new zombies mode is also a reward and provides a balance between the core challenge and the added classes that allow players to level up. I've always bought COD for the zombies since WAW and this installment of zombies features a new, less complex storyline, yet provides a new, gripping, and horrific experience for veteran players.

The time I've spent playing this game has been the most I've played a CoD title in the past 3 years. The campaign is well paced. Stunning visuals. The MP is the biggest part of the game with the standard game modes with some interesting changes to the class system. Overall very addicting and more exciting with friends in the new headquarters hub space. The zombies takes a new refreshing tone with more horror and less campy attitude. To me that was the most welcome change but other than that it's your standard zombie mode with a huge map and tons of secrets. Overall, a good package.

I'm a sucker for Call of Duty games because they are typically fun and easy to pick up and play. Modern Warfare really defined the series as a premier shooter, but I haven't been impressed with repetitive sequels. Sure, every iteration has added some new features to try and stave off staleness, but the setting and atmosphere is first and foremost important to me. Returning to WWII is a good choice. The story mode is compelling and entertaining, and quite graphic. Even in multiplayer, every kill with the flamethrower or incendiary shells caused the character to scream in agonizing pain and slowly drop to the ground. It's impressive in a disturbing way that keeps the intensity of war always present. I don't care for loot crates, but they are in no way required and you can earn them regularly without needing to pay for them, which is currently available at the moment anyway. The zombie mode is quite similar to other games, but the atmosphere is creepier. If you have been turned away from the series for a while now, I recommend at least renting the game at Redbox to see if you might become hooked like I did playing the beta.

I think with every year, hating on COD has become the "cool" thing to do. Scathing criticism with unrealistic expectations and preformed judgements will no doubt alter your experience. For me, the game is simply fun. The campaign is a blast as is the online multiplayer. On a whim I opted to swing by my local Best Buy (the friendliest people work here and I'm lucky to have them as my store) and bought the game at full price; this is something that I rarely do. And, as you might expect, I had a certain level of expectation for $60+. Well, my expectations were met. I absolutely enjoy playing the game and am fully immersed in the campaign; playing it on Veteran is definitely adding hours to the longevity. I recommend it to those of us who remember what it was like to see COD2 on the Xbox 360 debut. I still remember walking into a Best Buy back then and seeing 20 people crowded around the demo station...something you don't see nowadays. COD WWII brings those memories back.

It's been so long since I've thoroughly enjoyed a CoD game. The campaign is pretty good, the multiplayer simple yet fun. The biggest hit, IMO, is an unnerving zombies mode that is a great added chapter to the franchise's well-known features.

They did a great job bringing the game back to it's roots. Game play is smooth, weapons are awesome, campaign is intense and much longer than most, online play is fast paced but allows for use of multiple weapon types. Love it

I'm a casual gamer, and I love things about the WWII era. This game has great graphics, a stellar story, and of course...Zombies! I never give 5 stars because there are always areas that can be improved, but this is a solid game for a great price around the holidays.

This game is a welcome return to the greatest generation. While I haven't finished the game yet, the graphics are phenomenal, the story is engaging and the action is intense. Highly recommended!

Back to boots on the ground combat. Has that old school CoD feel to it and haven't been able to stop playing. Cool campaign, classic multiplayer and sick new spin on the zombie mode.

Haven’t played games in a while and I just had to get back into it after seeing this in a store. Graphics are incredible and the story line is great. Online play is fun as well!

Very good choice by the creators to take it back to its origins instead of contiously making more futuristic games. Story, Multiplayer, and Zombies were all greatly executed,

Call of Duty WWII is a great shooting games, and doesn't disappoint like the previous Call of Duty games. Campaign is nice, and playing Zombies is great in this game
