I run a small production company that produces content for cable and streaming networks, so I have a few larger, more $$$ cameras in my arsenal. I also have the smaller gadgets like the OSMO 3, DJI ACTION CAMS and the INSTA 360s. This camera meets somewhere in the middle, with the option to swap out lenses but also small enough to lug around in verite, guerilla style moments. It great as a film camera and there are many reviews that laud it already. What I really like is the true hybrid nature of this unit. Cinema Camera in one setting with all the pro features you would expect but switch over to photo mode and you have a full fledged photo camera for picture taking. win win.

One of the best cameras I ever had. The quality and performance are simple great. It's amazing for photo and amazing for video. No complaints at all.

The best resolution and autofocus response and accurate.

This is a wonderful camera. Has the function of canon R5 and could record 8k movies as well. Be aware you'll need to buy high capacity & high speed memory cards to utilize this feature and they are not cheap. IMO mirror less cameras are too small for me as Im used to larger DSLR bodies but with the much needed built in fan on the R5c balances things out (for me) especially when using larger lenses.

Amazing image quality. Absolute low light beast. It took me a bit to get used its auto focus set up but once I really put it thru the paces i really like it. Customizable buttons everywhere make it easy to set your exposure and make adjustments on the go. If you're thinking about it, do it.

Phenominal camera for stills and video. Its a bit old now but still a great investment.

Great cinema camera. Works really well with the Canon VR lens. I'm giving it four stars because I wish the battery life was a little longer. I'm getting about 30-45 minutes on a single charge. Also, you have to pay for either version of the VR utilities. Be sure to use the EOS R5C version of the utility and not the EOS R5 version.

Love the camera and what its able to capture. The only downside is if you dont use a external battery you will only get 25 mins of shooting on the standard battery.

A wonderful camera for video! The footage always comes out gorgeous. A great upgrade from using the MarkIV. The battery does die quickly, so we use an external battery, which typically lasts a full wedding day. Occasionally we use it for photo, too, and it's easy to switch from photo to video mode.

Great Camera it overheats but then fan kicks in and works great

The camera is fantastic and everything we were expecting. Only downside is that the included battery charger did not work. Left the battery charging for hours and it still was dead. Charged the battery inside the camera with a USB C powerbank and it fully charged in a couple of hours. Not worth returning for a replacement since there are no in stock anywhere for now.

Best cinematic camera on the market. 8k quality, fan, non stop video. New firmware bring a lot of features.
