This camera has great auto functions, a good range zoom, and a convenient touch screen. I'd recommend it to new photographers who want to take nice photos on vacation with minimal effort. I did however return it because I was looking for a camera that would let me get more in depth with the settings, and allow me to swap lenses to get different focal lengths and depths of field. I ended up going with the Canon t6i, which I also love.

This is a very easy camera to operate and takes great pictures. The zoom leaves a little to be desired , but the quality of pics and the ease of operation more than make up for that. It is a little bulky , for this type of camera, but it's not too big to carry around.

I bought this camera based solely on a Consumer Reports review...something I rarely do. It's everything CR says it is and more. Frame the photos well and you'll get tack sharp well-saturated images. My only dislikes are that it feels a little small in my hands and therefore a bit cumbersome to use. I plan to order the available accessory grip and hope that this remedies this minor issue. Also, be sure to get the available lens hood and an extra battery. Battery life is so-so especially when using the flash.

This camera really has no surprises to it. It takes excellent photos and fine video, is a great performer, well-built, great ergonomics, and has an easy to use interface. I've owned many powershot cameras, the G9, G12, G15, G16 and now this beauty. The image quality is unbelievable for a point and shoot, I really enjoy using it and I'm very satisfied with the results it produces.

Pros: A solid performer, great photo quality, wifi connectivity is a great feature if a little clunky. Cons: Heavy, Lens has to come out a fair amount on startup. Just too big to pocket.

I bought this camera just before a 2 week trip to Europe. I had little time to become familiar with it, but even using mostly automatic settings, it is taking beautiful pictures. So easy to use and really nice quality.

1. Easy to carry than a SLR camera. 2. Sharp pictures and good for low lighting photography. 3. Adjustable LED screen too bulky, not pratical. 4. Heavy and hard to carry due to it's size and nontractable lens. 5. Can use adapter to add UV filter or other specialty filters. 6. Can add lens hood. 7. More expensive than most of point and shoot camera.

Fast auto focus and special scene shooting modes are easy to select. Have a 7D mark II and picture quality is virtually same. The large sensor makes the difference.

One of the best camera i've ever had. For it's size, it'll give you superb quality DSLR like images effortless.

I replaced a very nice Sony camera with this one because it was lost while traveling. While I absolutely love the camera, I can't tell any difference between this one and my Sony that was half the price of this one.... but take that for what it is because certainly no photographer!

Cool new feature includes Air Drop to other mobile equipment. Photos are beautiful and camera is both light weight and easy to use.

Still learning all the settings. Great camera for people like me who just want quality pictures with a point and shoot camera.

I'll just tell you that this is an amazing photographic tool and, if in the right hands, can produce professional quality results. If you do not know how to use the product and don't intend to learn the camera then you are wasting a few hundred bucks because you'd be better off with a lesser model in auto mode. This is a photographer's camera, the focal range of the tack sharp lens is generous with the aperture at the long end being a very acceptable F4.0. This is the camera that will allow you to leave you DSLR at home and still get stunning results. I'm not suggesting that you shoot a wedding with this, but as a pro would easily be satisfied with this as a DSLR backup. What a gem!
