Oh my goodness this heats up fast! I will be using it camping also. Will be using it with my French press to heat the water for coffee and tea. Pretty cool, that it lights up too! Highly recommend!

It was a really great electric kettle but it only lasted a few weeks!

I love electric kettles. I thought the top not being attached was a downside, but I actually love that the top can detach, easier cleaning, Kettle works great and my water is truly burn yourself hot!

The water heats up incredibly fast — much quicker than my old kettle — which makes it perfect for busy mornings or when I just want a quick cup of tea. Since getting it, I’ve been trying all kinds of new teas, and it’s made the whole process so easy and enjoyable. Simple to use, works exactly as expected, and feels like a great upgrade. Boils quickly. The light makes it very attractive. And hopefully the design will mean it doesn't start leaking in a year like others I've owned.

It does the trick, the water does heat up quickly. I do like the opening and being able to clean the inside good. It is a cheaper tea kettle my last one was a cusinart and I do wish I spent the extra money and replaced it with the same that one had preset water temps which I miss.
