Customer Ratings & Reviews

The CORSAIR HX1200i has been excellent in my build. It’s very quiet, runs cool, and handles high-end hardware without any issues. The fully modular cables made the build look much cleaner, and overall it just feels like a very reliable premium power supply.

The increased power actually saves money. A perfect match for my upgraded gpu.

The CORSAIR HX1200i is an excellent power supply. The build quality is outstanding, and the fully modular cables made cable management clean and easy. Installation was straightforward, and everything worked perfectly right out of the box. It's extremely quiet, even under heavy loads, and the 1200W capacity provides more than enough power for a high-end gaming or workstation PC. The ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 support also make it a great choice for current and future GPU upgrades. If you're building a high-performance system and want a reliable, efficient, and premium power supply, I highly recommend the CORSAIR HX1200i.

I just picked up the Corsair HX1200i for my new build, and it’s been great so far. The install was super easy thanks to the fully modular cables, and the unit itself feels really solid and high quality. My system runs a high-end GPU, and the power delivery has been perfectly stable with no weird noises or coil whine. What I like most is how quiet it is—I honestly can’t hear it at all while gaming. It’s definitely not cheap, but it feels like one of those parts you buy once and don’t have to worry about for years. Overall, really happy with the purchase.

I am happy with my power supply and has not failed yet. Seems well build and like the option to be able to monitor power from the corsair dashboard. Only thing that was a surprise was the lack of a dedicated 12v 2x6 connector. They have the conversion cable but buying what I thought would be the higher end power supply would come with the dedicated GPU connector. O well no biggie

Works great for my 5090. Would definitely recommend

The hx1200i is big, beautiful, power PSU. Does what I need it to do and I know I can trust it's reliability

I needed this psu to run my 5090. It’s been over 6 months and no issues.

Runs quiet, easy to build with, cables felt high quality, and powers my overkill PC with ease with room to spare. (9800X3D, 5090FE, numerous accessories)

Works well with the 5090, cables are nice also. Best efficiency

I like this new power supply from Corsair. The cables are much easier to use compared to my older Corsair power supply.

Worked great in the updated computer we were working on and we are happy with it.

Works amazingly and has plenty of power for your entire build

No issues and seems like a solid power supply. Would recommend.

the new power cables are excellent, it comes with a power cable ready for the 5080 so no need to use the standard adapter your gpu comes with, love that.

Product took 5-7 days to show up. The product was dead on arrival. Return process was simple and offered to replace it - another 5-7 days. I ordered same product, same cost and It arrived the next day and that PDU worked. Very poor in-stock availability and product delivery.

I had high expectations for the CORSAIR HXi Series HX1200i power supply, but unfortunately my experience was disappointing. As soon as I installed it, the CUE software showed a solid red light that would not go away. I checked all connections and reinstalled it carefully, but the issue persisted. A brand-new PSU should not present this kind of problem out of the box. On the positive side, Best Buy accepted the return without any issues, but overall, I lost confidence in this unit. For such a premium power supply, I expected flawless performance and reliability.
