Dosent fir 55" tvs

I bought a 55" tv and this together and tv doesn't fit at all. Because the meatle edges stick up and prevent the tv from sitting square on the stand. So it hangs of precariously. Its ridiculous and I want my money back.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
