A true Gem a must! Your Delivering Items across an expansive beautiful world with Stranger Things like creatures waiting to hear a peep! I pre ordered this Collectors Edition way ahead of time before I usually do. Big Norman Reedus fan the content in this edition is awesome and not like any other collectors edition. Great to show off put it in my Game Room.

Love the game and enjoying playing it right now! Something unique gameplay and the graphics are so good! The collector’s edition is very worth it! BB pod life size is creepy but nice! I recommend it for Kojima-san fans and looking for nice adventure game.

What a beautiful game! Stunning visuals, intriguing story, lovable characters. I love my BB pod too! Overall very proud of the work that Kojima has created.

So far the game is awesome, yes its not going to be for everyone but i'm loving it i think i'm about 20 hrs into it though only at the start of episode 5. the collectables are cool, baby lights up if u put batteries in it and the little figure is similar to a keychain but more Japanese style where they hang from their phones or backpacks (i got mine in my car hanging from the mirror), tape is still in crate which the crate would be a helluva a lot cooler if handle moves; shouldn't have to worry about them braking as the crate seems heavyduty for the plastic and comes with a foam liner.

I love the game! I can tell soo much effort has been placed to make sure the experience is complete and ubique. It’s a different beast and I’m loving it!!

It's an endless series of fetch quests where the main antagonist to the players Avatar (Sam) is the world itself. Exploring new routes, developing means of transport, and customizing Sam with the perfect equipment for every scenario makes something that would seem repetive actually rather innovative and fun. Combat is there but it isn't what the game is really about. All the special edition bonuses were worth it too. I love collectibles. the only thing I'm mad about is that Best buy slapped a huge ugly sticker on the front of the packaging.

Love the kit. The Bridge Baby looks super creepy in the dark. The game is just as crazy and bizarre as a Kojima fan would want.

It’s awesome. Beautiful collectible. Lights up and everything lol. Comes in a pretty cool briefcase with a Ludens figurine that some would say...adorable.

The toy is good conversation piece and has hard case to protect it

Pretty unsatisfied with my purchase. Huge shipping sticker on the front over the collectors item writing. The box and artwork is a huge part of this game and item and was very disappointed to see that it had been damaged. The manager at the Fullerton location told me every item comes that way when shipped so maybe they need to talk with their shipping company. The sticker could have been place on the bottom or another spot with artwork. Won’t be buying any more collectors items from Best Buy if this is how it will arrive. Also was told a new box would be waiting for me since mine was damaged but this never happened and that’s when the manager informed me that each box has that sticker. Image shows the box after I tried to peel/remove sticker without further damage.

The BB is cool but the briefcase is horribly cheap unimpressive pvc plastic. This should not have been more than $110 at most.

This game is not for everyone. It has a gameplay loop that fails to be entertaining if you don't drive yourself to complete the story and embark on the amazing journey it brings. The game is not trying to constantly give you moments of triumph. It savors those moments. While the trailers for the game and marketing were very cryptic, this is easily the most straightforward and least "zany" game Kojima has done. The game is grounded in a fantastic world and follows the rules accordingly. In contrast to MGS, which was set in a world like ours but with fantastic elements that seemed incompatible with the world around them. This wasn't a negative for MGS, but it did turn some people away. Death Stranding does not suffer this problem. I completed the story and a majority of post story content. I could not compel myself to get the platinum trophy as it was just far to grindy and tedious. This fact revealed to me the reality of the gameplay loop that without the story motivating me to finish I did not feel much like returning. Thus to recommend this game as a purchase is an interesting one. It will easily get you to the 30+ hour mark. If you really push the story you may be able to complete it in a rental, but I feel this game's story will impact you enough that you will feel like you want to own the game. I felt the same way with The Last of Us, though that game was much shorter. I ended up with about 50 hours total on Normal mode, doing mainly story and some road building. The collector's edition itself is an easy recommendation for anyone who really loved the game. The BB Unit, Ludens figure, case, and tape are cool and well made. One of the best CE I have bought.

The collectors edition is one of the best I've had in a while. The pod doeant do anything special other than light up so basically a glorified statue ,but a very cool one at that. The game overall is great. It is filled with fetch quests but the constant addition of new things you can do after doing those quests keeps the game moving smooth. Also a state of the art story that you can get more detailed by doing all of the standard quests along the way. Love it!

I was a little skeptical at first with this game. Everything I've read makes it sound like a walking simulator. I'm a huge fan of Kojima, and have played every Metal Gear game dating all the way back to the 80's when I was a kid. Kojima is a master story teller, and I was excited to see what he would do with this game. Simply put, I love it. This isn't a game that is high on action set pieces. It's not trying to be. What this game is, however, is a breathtaking take on life and death. The writing is superb, the acting is insane, and I'm not quite sure what genre the game is meant to be. At times I was genuinely afraid of my surroundings in the game due to not being able to see with certainly where the "BT's" were at. (I guess the closest thing I could compare them to would be a ghost?) At others I remember standing on the top of a mountain and wondering how Kojima's studio was able to make the game so dang beautiful. The grass, the rock, the mountains, and the water all had me fooled at times thinking it was real. The story starts off slow, but I'd say it picks up at chapter 3 and then doesn't slow down. Do yourself a favor and play this game. It's more something you "experience" than you "play," and will keep you thinking long after you put the controller down.

Collector's edition with the BB replica is awesome. I wish they would have made it a glass replica instead of plastic, but still really well made. However the game itself is ok. No doubt the mechanics used in this game, and the way they keep throwing stuff at you to improve on it, with the main them being sort of a walking-simulation-based-gameplay is amazing. However, its not fun if you are expecting to get an adrenaline-surge out of it. It you pick this game up thinking its a action-game, by now you know it is not. The only thing that kept me going is the story. It is simply worth playing for. Or simply just go to youtube and watch its cinematics. I think Kojima created an amazing sci-fi world which begged to be made into something more than just fetch-based quests. There was so much potential in the world created, and could have easily been made into one of the best action-packed adventure. Opportunity missed and it really disappointed me.

I beat the game just recently since I took time with it and wanted to savor the ending for later, but it truly is a phenomenal adventure experience taking place in an apocalyptic America in a world that experienced an event known as the Death Stranding. The game might not be for everyone, especially if you’re expecting a fast paced run-and-gun type game. This game if you’re patient will blow you away with it’s adventure experience, story, and amazing graphics for the hardware it’s on. The collectors edition is definitely recommended if you’re interested. I can’t wait to see what other grand titles await us from the legendary storyteller Hideo Kojima.

The gameplay can be frustrating but also the world is superb and the graphics are beautiful. The collectors edition for what you get definitely doesn't feel worth $200, but I got it for half that, which is a lot more fair.

As a huge Metal Gear fan, any Kojima created game is a must buy. I went into this pretty much blind, and I have to say, the negative reviews make no sense to me. This game is a masterpiece in both visuals and story telling. The Strand system is genius and it makes you think of different ways to play the game. Do you help yourself, or do you want to help yourself AND others at the same time? The choice is yours. Definitely a worthy purchase, and remember, tomorrow is in your hands ;)

Kojima's latest game after He left konami and Open his own studio. This is a game that not everyone going to like because of those reviews but once you try it yourself it's going to be a different story. All the game mechanics and the story behind made the game so interesting. Do not trust the reviews, dwell yourself into this game and you will feel it. If you are the one who love shoot and kill or plain simple action games then this is not the game for you.

Death Stranding was one of my favorite gaming experiences of 2019. It is deep, very well-made and expansive. It's difficult to describe what exactly Death Stranding is, because there's never been a game quite like it. You could simplify it by calling it a game of "fetch quests", but it is so much more than that. There is great strategy involved in interacting with the game world, along with a sandbox component made particularly compelling by the fact that your creations are shared with other players across the world. I expected I would have to make myself appreciate the game based on some other reviews, but I was pulled in from the first moment and really enjoyed watching the game's mechanics unfold before me. Even after 60+ hours beating the campaign, I still find myself wanting to dive back into the games sandbox elements and pushing for full completion of the game's objectives. If you are fan of games that do something different and do it well, I couldn't recommend the game higher. If you like story-driven games and don't mind if things get (very) existential, this may also be right up your alley. It's not really for someone who is more interested in a familiar experience, such as a traditional shooter or action game. As a Collector's Edition, this specific item is great due to awesome replicas of in-game items. I found the collectibles meaningful to me as someone who experienced the game.
