I purchased this laptop so I could bring it back and forth from work and home. I needed something 'right this minute' when my work machine quit on me, so didn't do a lot of research, but I'm super happy with what I got! It has a great price point and all the features I wanted in a laptop. Fast startup with one touch login, touch screen, lightweight, portable size (but not too small), and adequate memory. Bonus feature: to use as a tablet, which isn't something I do much, but a nice option! It is perfect for what I need to bring home my work, and easily plugs into multiple monitors with an adaptor. The battery seems to last, but I haven't really tried it out much for long time use. The only criticism I can think of is that it could use a few more USB ports without having to use some kind of external hardware. I seem to always need more. I actually like this machine a whole lot more than I expected to. Would recommend as a good option for work, home, and/or school. Powerful enough for business, yet convenient enough to travel with.

Just took it out the box & I already love it! If you're wondering if it's a good school laptop, it is! I use it mainly to do school work & it does more than enough. The display is clear and vibrant (great for watching videos & movies). The touchscreen works well & I love the backlit keyboard (why don't more laptops have this feature?). It's really smooth & snappy. I like that I can turn it into a tablet. It also has a fingerprint reader which is cool. I just got it so I can't give a long-term review but it looks good so far!

This was my first experience with a 2-in-1 laptop. I do appreciate the convenience that the touchscreen offers however it already has a crack in it after two weeks (originating from hinge where screen and laptop connect). I didn’t drop it or anything and have multiple other iPhones, IPads, etc which have gone through years of use and abuse without issue. Hopefully just a quality defect and not the standard for this product…

I love this pc it’s awesome & fast I use it for my small business to keep me locked in I love the color it’s really girly and light weight to carry on the go !
Perfect computer. Only a 4 STAR because my fingerprint disabled within a week and the screen is super sensitive. I dropped it one time and it cracked ugh. Buying a new screen now

I am very happy with my new 14” Del laptop computer. It was recommended by my salesman It is light and easy for me to transport. The service was great and Steve got everything download for me and explained how to set it up.

The Wi-Fi adapter card failed after 2 months of use. The touchpad was worse than my worn out 10 year old Dell Inspiron for the first 3 months. Seems okay now. In case you don't know, this laptop does not have an ethernet cable plug. (Wi-Fi only). No DVD player either. Bare bones, on the go laptop. I haven't purchased a laptop in 10 years, so I was unaware.

Easy to use. Good size if you don't want a big laptop. The color is a unique. The keyboard lights up and you can turn it off when you don't want it to light up. Love it.

I will try to review this by ignoring the hype about Intel vs AMD, and just review the laptop for what is is. DISCLAIMER: I am a person who was used to buying $400 dll laptops that offer somewhat laptop material, but not the majority of the pie. As I am typing this, and when I was testing the keyboard in notepad after I picked it up from the store, they keyboard feels top-tier. Let's keep in mind this is subjective and mileage or taste may vary between users. This is one of rarity purchased I have made recently that almost reached $700 dlls (taxes included). The screen is brighter than expected, and it gets dim enough when turning the brightness down. The fact that this screen has touch-screen makes it a big plus. Opening chrome, spreadsheets, CS:GO feels snappy, and this price range has hit that "good enough" goal line that I have been dreaming about for years. I am coming from an HP14 Core i3 model in which storage was upgraded to SSD, and this machine feels even more snappy. I repeat, the keyboard feels great quality. Moreover, the build quality overall feels sturdy and well-balanced. There is some flex in the middle of the keyboard, but one has to really press down on it. Definately not for gamers since there is no graphics card, but CS:GO runs pretty well from my perspective; it does not stutter if anbydoy is wondering. I ran out of ideas what to type in here because the keyboard feels so good.

I had originally bought this laptop for a job, but I use this all the time with school. This is a great laptop and I love the touch screen. I am the type of person to have almost 20 tabs open, word opened, and sometimes powerpoint all at once. The battery life is good and is durable.

Really love this laptop! My Surface Pro 3 was starting to get a little slow so I wanted to upgrade without buying another surface, but still getting the same type of functionality. This laptop is IT! You can still annotate, still get the same level of Windows experience, and still get a touch screen without compromising on speed and the overall user experience. The BEST part? The battery lasts soooo long! I only have to charge it a couple times a week. For reference, I mostly use this for school and Netflix. Way to go Dell!

This laptop is by far one of the best I have purchased. I have not had one issue with it yet. I use it daily for school, the battery life is amazing and the quality is impeccable. This laptop is really fast which is great for Online schooling! I would definitely recommend this laptop for anyone interested in a modern, highspeed, affordable, long-lasting laptop.

Very happy. We didn't realize it was a touch screen & could be flipped to be a pad until we got home. Like that the color isn't the standard silver, black or gray. Was very pleased to fall in love with this model on the floor & then find it open box in-store. Saved about $198 total that shopping trip after purchasing webroot anti-virus software & a Speck case.

Here's what I wish I knew about this laptop. Overall, I love the speed, look, and performance of this laptop. However, I wish I'd know that this laptop wasn't compatible with Adobe Photoshop for drawing and sketching. However, I did manage to find a solution online called TouchMousePointer. Look it up on youtube. It's a software that enables you to draw in photoshop. You'll have to download it at your own risk. If it doesn't work the first time, find another video on it. The first video I found gave the wrong instructions. Next, be careful, the charger gets hot sometimes, but the laptop keeps a long charge. I can finally use my laptop without a plug. I previously had HP Laptops, and I'm done with them. They are so slow, and mine never kept a charge. I came to Dell because of my Dell All in One Desktop. It was way better than my laptop. I needed a new laptop for my work when I travel if I ever get to travel again. Anyhow, this time around I decided to choose a Dell and not an HP. Lastly, if you draw and sketch on this, be sure to purchase a digitizing pen, ie Stylus. Wacom of course for me, but apparently they sell one to. Otherwise, you'll be drawing or sketching with your finger. I also use a cheap rubber stylus from the dollar store which works fine for sketching and could work for taking notes. If your new to digital drawing and painting, just make sure your stylus is compatible with Windows Ink. The cheap rubber ones don't count, but they do work.
