I purchased the HomeBase 3 along with an E340 Video Doorbell and S340 SoloCam. The HB3 is a must have if you want all of the motion detection and AI options. Before I set it up I installed a Samsung 870 EVO 1TB internal SATA SSD, because I knew I wanted to store a lot of video footage. The internal drive was easy to install with the instructions. I have the HB3 directly attached to our wifi router via the ethernet cable that is supplied. Once I plugged it in and let it go through the setup process, I then added it as a new device in the app. The app walks you through the setup process and makes it fairly simple. The new internal drive was recognized right away. You have to format the new drive but it’s easy in the app. Another big plus with the HomeBase is that it puts out a much stronger wifi signal than my wifi router itself. After connecting all of my cameras to the HomeBase instead of my wifi router, they now show the strongest connection possible with full bars. If you buy any newer eufy cameras, adding the HomeBase 3 is well worth it if you want to utilize all of their functions. I’m very happy with it and the whole eufy system in general.

The eufy S380 HomeBase 3 Indoor Wired Base Station (16GB) is now successfully set up and fully connected. It is functioning correctly with all my devices: two doorbell cameras and two eufy Security SoloCams, all connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

I’ve been really happy with the S380 HomeBase 3 so far. Setup was straightforward and the app walked me through everything step by step. It connected quickly and I didn’t have any issues getting it up and running. The local storage with no monthly fees was a big selling point for me. I like knowing the footage stays in my home and isn’t tied to a subscription. Playback is smooth and loads faster than I expected. The AI detection has been surprisingly accurate and I appreciate being able to adjust the sensitivity so I’m not getting constant unnecessary alerts. Overall it feels solid, reliable, and worth the investment if you’re building out a Eufy system. Would definitely recommend.

Already had 3 eufy cameras left over from when I bought my house so I looked into what was needed to get them up and running and found that I needed the Homebase 3. It was quick and easy to connect and sync my cameras to the base and the best part was being able to pull up videos and live streaming without any additional fees as everything is stored in the Homebases internal memory. I did get a 1TB SSD to further increase my storage capacity and that was easy to install as well. I plan on adding more cameras to cover a larger portion of my house. Great product.

Bought to replace Home Base 2, set up was easy and relinking my video doorbell and door lock as well as my cameras were easy. I had an extra 512 GB SSD drive and installed it for more storage.

Basically just a storage for footage that captured. Also I have SIM card on each S3 cameras in case WiFi is down. If I’m not mistake SIM card detection a bit faster than home base too. So if you have Eufy ecosystem like door camera and others stuffs than it good to have otherwise SIM card on each camera is good enough.

I had set up a 360 degree camera and Door bell before I got the HomeBase 3. When I received the S380 and hooked it up and attach the 2 cameras to it and they worked so much better. Very much easier and good connection to Wifi. I also put a 1 TB SSD in it. I am installing 3 more Floodlight led cameras and they will all work in addition to the 2 I already have. Adding a camera device to the Homebase is almost too easy. Just plug the new device into usb port turn it on and choose add device and Homebase will detect it and tell you to press sync button and then scan a barcode and you are ready to go.

I am thoroughly pleased with this product. Very easy to install and the functionality is user-friendly. I highly recommend this product. I forgot to mention that it works with my older cameras as well as the new.

Improves connection speed to view camera footage but still can use more improvement. It would be nice to be able to view all cameras at once like in the google app.

Very good HomeBase to connect all of your eufy cameras - I have 2 cameras connected over wifi, no issues with recordings, put 2.5 inch SSD in it - plenty of space for event based recordings. No complains, prices is also good comparing to Pro version. Good investment into subscription-less infrastructure of your security system

Connects great with the cameras just needed a little more clear direction on which size of storage to buy. Bought the wrong size… with a Best Buy employee’s help. Otherwise great buy!

Iv'e had a Eufy doorbell for over a year. Decided to add the HomeBase-S3880. Was amassed how easy it was to install and get connected to the door bell.

I love Eufy products, and very happy with this item as well. Stores all of the footage. You do need a sim card or a hard drive for additional storage for continuous recording. I love that these products don't have a yearly subcription like ring or other brands.

The product was really easy to set up and the devices that we have connected really quickly as well. We have 4 cameras, doorbell and door lock. I wish it came in different color but that's not an issue far as the product itself.

For now the standard 16 gig is enough for me. However, the ability to add an extra hard drive is nice. The AI feature is neat but not something that I’ve found extremely useful yet.
