Unlike springs, which lack consistency—starting easy and becoming excessively difficult at the end of the move—this gear uses air pressure to provide constant resistance throughout the entire motion. Even when I’m fatigued, I can give it my best effort and the device still moves; it just slows down as the air is pushed from the chamber. It’s much more effective for maintaining form and getting a complete workout.
