In trying to find a new digital camera, I stumbled across the X-Half Fujifilm which had al the features I wanted: Bluetooth connection to my phone (for easy photo recovery,) simplified design, light weight/ compact, and unique features that allow you to stay present and not get wrapped up in the technicality of a clunky overworked camera. This is a great camera if you're looking to have that nostalgic homey feel reimagined. It's perfect for travel or documenting moments while making them feel a little more special than just using your camera app. I take my X-Half everywhere with me. Every vacation, every holiday, every party, every hangout, and I've even just taken it when going on walks by myself. This camera is for the social, the adventurous, and even the quiet. I also highly recommend buying this with the Fujifilm Instax Mini Link for extra nostalgia and more permanent memory making! Here are a few of my fav photos I've taken so far. Happy pic taking and memory making!!

I bought this on a whim in store since finding a Fujifilm camera on the shelf seems like such a rarity these days. I really enjoy the portability and included film simulations. Setup was easy, and the free X-half app makes uploading pictures to a smartphone mostly painless. As others may have said, there are multiple self-imposed limitations with this camera. The fixed lens has no zoom, the MP count is fairly low (though the pictures have a charming quality), and the autofocus can be hit or miss. I consider the camera as a fun replacement for those disposable cameras you'll find at weddings. Shoot away, with the knowledge that only about 1 in 4 pictures will be worth keeping.

I just purchased this as a secondary “fun” camera, I love the film simulation and built in filters! I’ve only used it for a few says so far and I love it. It is extremely compact (I included a picture beside my key fob) which is great I can carry this with me everywhere unlike my Sony A7iii.

The camera doesn't have the best specs, but it is the camera that you will always have with you. It's light and impossibly small. It's the one you'll have the most fun with, the film sims and the filter modes make it so fun. And the pictures are definitely good enough. And they're immediately on your phone as well; no waiting or editing later.

This really is the best camera for on the go. For me personally i love the fujifilm film simulations, and it just makes taking daily pictures more fun! So easy to put in my pocket or bag. would highly recommend

Camera is light weight and compact. Fun point and shoot camera with cool filters

Great quality images out of this camera, great battery life and the simulations are perfect!

easy to use and i really love all the effects, you dont need to edit your photo and i really like the detail of every pictures that i captured.

It’s very cute and handy to carry everyday. Good: cute, handy, lightweight Bad: don’t have grid, small sensor bit lower quality (I have xt5) and SO EXPENSIVE!!! Overall it’s good toy for photographers. You can get out of the heavyweight camera and get some good pics with this small. But it’s very pricey.

It was so easy to get a price match on this camera i purchased for my sons birthday in November.

Got my fujifilm x half and I think its cute yet only for fun kind of camera. Gives you same quality with the disposable cameras. Good for just memories but quality wise - wont recommend...

I think this camera is a blast to use. I’m new to photography and this camera is so much fun. At 650 on sale this camera still feels a little to expensive but much better than 850. I’d say this camera is worth it if you want a small camera for fun that is actually pocketable this might be it. The auto focus is slow and the tracking isn’t great. This is not a spec focused persons camera. It seems targeted for a specific use case and person that isn’t looking for professional quality but a memory maker. It’s interesting though because how this camera looks and feels most people like it. It’s like a disposable camera that is digital with all the quality of like features of a modern camera. I’m mostly talking about the app. The app allows for photo transfers straight to your phone. The x half app seems to work well, I’m on iOS so I dont know how android is. Overall this is a fun gimmicky camera that is fun to use. Sure your phone can take similar or even better photos and you can get mostly the same look with another camera app but this is not a phone. So it won’t suck you out of a moment.

I absolutely adored this camera however as a professional photographer I do find it is a bit small if you were looking for quality I would say skip the purchase if you are looking for travel, and nostalgic memories I say go for it!

[Employee of bestbuy] I like this camera more than I thought I would! It's a lot of fun, brings out some creativity, and is well built. It's small size allows it to go anywhere, more or less. Only complaints are that you can't apply filters to film sims (would be nice to add a vignette to say Across), and it's a little pricey for what it is.

The Fujifilm X Half is compact, stylish, and very enjoyable to use. The colors look great, the camera is easy to carry, and it captures everyday moments beautifully. Perfect for travel and family photos. Highly recommended!!!

I love the small compact size of this camera but it is very simple! Not too many options to build recipes such as exposure or lighting settings. They did a good job of picking the most popular film simulators, however. The screen os small so it is much easier to see once uploaded to your phone which is sinple!

This is a GOOD camera, but lacks zoom and a better image for the price its asking. This is my first Fuji and while I love the whole "film simulation" gimmick and all the different settings it has, that price is just too steep for what is really an entry level camera. Good photos and a blast to use but overall it is almost on par with the Vivitar VXXBR60 and at least that camera has a zoom and costs a fraction of this one.

I'm not a professional photographer of any way but just like taking pictures for fun and this one is really nice to use cause it already has some preset filters or simulations without having to go in and adjust settings too much like in the pricier ones. This one fits the budget. I bought a cute bag case to put it in and got so many compliments at how cute my camera is when I wear it across my chest

I bought this camera because I wanted something compact and didn’t wanna lug my Nikon ZF around everywhere. Yes, it is compact however, it is very limited. You can only shoot JPEG, which was fine to me, but I know many people that’s a dealbreaker. Also, it’s a fixed lens. It just felt very cheap. It felt more like silver plastic than metal. I ended up returning it and just getting the XM5 for $200 more.

The camera was a lot of fun to use. There are plenty of preloaded filter to choose from and you can select the light exposure. While the filters are fun (ok, a lot of fun) this felt more like a toy than anything else. At the price point it’s simply not worth it, had it been 200 sure I’d keep it.
