Gibraltar Hardware - 14" Vintage Style Single Flanged Snare Batter Hoop, for Classic Look & Feel

Step back in time and bring a touch of classic tone to your kit with the Gibraltar SC14VSFBH 14-Inch Vintage Style Single-Flanged Snare Batter Hoop. Designed for drummers who appreciate the look, sound, and feel of old-school gear, this hoop is perfect for jazz purists, retro rockers, and traditionalists seeking authenticity in both style and tone. Made to fit the batter (top) side of a 14-inch snare drum, this hoop features a single-flanged chopper style design—a throwback to the golden era of drum manufacturing. The minimal metal contact and open profile allow your drumhead to resonate more freely, resulting in a more natural tone with increased sensitivity and warmth. The single flange also delivers a unique playing feel, allowing stick response to be more pronounced and expressive. Whether you're after the dry crack of a jazz snare or the subtle touch dynamics of a vintage session kit, this hoop supports your performance with character and nuance. Ideal for custom snare builds, vintage drum restorations, or any drummer wanting to achieve a classic look and feel, the SC14VSFBH is more than just hardware—it’s a tribute to timeless drumming tradition.
