A movie I wanted to see so my nephew got it for me as a early Christmas gift. It's a good movie and a tear jerker for me and my mom cried.

This tearjerker involving a custody battle over an orphaned child prodigy could have been cloying and manipulative but thanks to a smart and intuitive script by Tom Flynn it avoids the potential traps of the form. This is not to say we don't have a rooting interest here but Flynn invests the combatants with depth and complexity that by the film's conclusion we are not left with any convenient heroes or villains. The film works as well because the ensemble is universally excellent. The heart of the film, though, would be the performance of McKenna Grace as Mary Adler, the pint-sized math wizard. Grace invests Mary with wit, toughness, precociousness, and an indomitable spirit that belies her tender years. Grace draws you into the tug-of-war involving not only Mary's fate but wellbeing that is genuinely heartbreaking. It's easy to dismiss a film of this nature but it would be advised to throw all inhibitions into the proverbial dustbin. A film that recalls the spirit of Douglas Sirk.

I enjoyed this movie very much. I have always been a Chris Evan's fan!!! The cast is wonderful!!! The Movie made me laugh and cry. The relationship between Chris's character and his niece, played by McKenna Grace, are touching and heartbreaking. A look at what a family really is.

A movie that helps you understand things from different perspectives and has decent character development. Definitely a movie for the whole family in most regards. There are some brief moments of adult ish content but other wise fairly viewable for most people.

Great movie for my daughter to watch and realize how blessed she is and that God is always in control no matter the situation.

Very touching movie with a great ending and a few touching spots along the way. What a creative plot with a great cast to boot. I love the digital copy option that allows me to watch on my smart TV without having to track down the disk.

Fell in love with this movie after my first viewing and knew I wanted to own it. The blu-ray quality is excellent and captures the cinematic scenes brilliantly. Highly recommend watching the film as well as purchasing a copy of it!

A wonderful film with a remarkable cast. It is great to see Chris Evans shine as an actor outside of his Captain America role. Mckenna Grace is divine. A touching story I highly recommend to all.

A good heartwarming family movie with some humor in it as well. Great moments with some touching moments along the way. A movie that you can watch over and over again.

This was a very fine movie about an uncle and his prodigy niece Mary. won't say much cause I don't to ruin the story but their's a scene when Mary catches her teacher at her home then with her coy smile say's "good morning miss Stevenson" very funny.

What a buy. This movie is such a joy to watch. It has the heartbreak and the overwhelming joy at the end. When the grownups get it right!

Hard to find a drama with a good story, but this one meets the challenge and then some. Young girl in this movie is exceptional as well.

Chris Evan is so great in this movie and so is the little girl who plays his daughter. Watch out for her she is going to be a star!!

This kinda reminds me of Matilda just without the powers. She’s a sweet intelligent girl that’s odd and everyone loves.

This is really a wonderful feel good movie. The stars are ALL truly wonderful at getting all the emotions across. We love it.

I have been looking for this movie for awhile. Best Buy is the only place I found this movie and price was great, $6.99

This is one of the most best movies ever. How hard it is to raise a genius kid? Parents must see the difference.
