Nest Wifi Pro gives you super fast, reliable Wi-Fi 6E coverage for your entire home.₁ It automatically adjusts your network’s performance to keep things running smoothly. It’s so smart it can monitor and diagnose common issues on its own. And it has privacy and security features to help keep you and your family safe.
A: Just be sure to use the same network name and password as the old router and based on my experience so far I believe it will connect seemlessly without any hassle. I don't have your exact situation but I have a bunch of different smart home devices and they all connected automatically without having to reconfigure everything.
A: This includes 3 Nest Wifi Pro routers. All Nest Wifi Pro devices have routing capabilities with 2 Ethernet ports, you can choose to set up any unit as your primary router and connect it to your modem via Ethernet. Then, add the other Wifi points as your child point wirelessly to create a whole Wi-Fi mesh setup. A: Yes. When I first purchased my tv the wireless in it was dropping because it was connecting to the 2.4GHz. The only way around that was to buy a mesh node and wire the tv to that. It worked like a charm until my tv got an update. At that point it no longer needed to be wired to a node.
A: Gigabit. Vanilla gigabit.
A: Hello there, Ron. Thanks for your interest. Nest Wifi Pro requires to be connected to a modem with broadband internet connection from an Internet Service Provider (ISP). Check out this link for the setup requirements and guide: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9548301
A: Hey there. The Nest Wifi Pro is only a router. It does not have an integrated modem. You'll need to connect your internet service provider (ISP)'s modem to the Nest Wifi Pro to provide internet connectivity to your devices.
A: The 2nd one will be wireless. You can also plug a device without a wireless card into the network port on the 2nd device and have wired internet in that room also.
A: Great question, Lis. The Nest Wi-Fi Pro can cover up 2,200 sq ft per device. With a multi-story home, we recommend having one per floor to make sure you receive the best connection wherever you are. We also suggest a maximum of 5 routers for a single network. Adding more might be detrimental to Wi-Fi performance. Here’s a link with more information: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/7182840

Purchased over a month ago and I'm extremely pleased. Upgraded from an older Google mesh system. From the Google home app. I deleted the old mesh system then started from scratch. I added the first router in the office and after setup Google added everything from the old system. within 5 minutes the hole house was setup. Security cameras, smart switches, smart bulbs and plugs. Next I added the 2nd router in the living room and setup this router, then repeated the same thing in our garage. Living in a brick home getting a signal in the garage at the opposite end of the house was almost impossible. Now my garage door openers are getting 99% signal and both Driveway and Patio cameras are getting a great signal now along with the video doorbell. It's great to open my SimpliSafe app. and having my 6 cameras all up and running fast without a glitch. I have the office, living room hard wired and the garage is Wi-Fi. Running speed tests, I'm getting an average 580 Mbps! I have Spectrum and signed up for 500Mbps and it's been rock solid. I'm even using Wi-Fi and I'm getting well over 430 Mbps. Now I can really setup a smart home! Picked this 3-pack at BestBuy on sale for $349.00.

I've used Google Nest products for a while, and I really like the new Google Nest Wifi Pro 6e. It's much faster and doesn't lose connection like the older model. Pros: The Nest Wifi Pro 6e is super fast, so playing games and watching videos online is great. It doesn't lose connection as often as the old one. It works better when you have lots of devices using the internet at the same time. Cons: The Nest Wifi Pro 6e costs more than the old model, which might be too much for some people. If you have a small home or not many devices, you might not need the new one. The old one could work just fine. Even with these small issues, I think the Google Nest Wifi Pro 6e is worth it for anyone who wants a good internet connection at home. I give it 5 stars because it's made my internet so much better.

Set up went pretty smooth and these definitely improved our speed and reliability over the previous generation. I do like that it runs a speed test and provides the stats its own. The speeds are likely well below the actual capability due to our internet plan and provider.
