I’ve been playing the Harvest Moon games since the GameBoy days and once the series split with Marvelous, the quality went down as well. I am happy to report that this entry is a welcome addition to the series I grew up on. Farming and relationships are present, but a focus is put on exploring and opening up the map, which unlocks tons of variety and room to expand. Being able to pick up and move your house gives you flexibility in where you want base your operations. My biggest complaints are the controls are a bit odd, and the characters seem a little generic (not much variation in their dialogue). If you’ve drifted from the series, give this one a try!

I’ve probably watched 20 out of the over 100 hours my wife has put into this game. The graphics are clean and the game runs well. There’s always something to do, but it’s still quite a chill game with no enemies to combat. Early on is a little tough with limited inventory space and not much stamina, but that quickly changes as you progress thru the game.

Absolutely love the storyline, still investigating the vast open world.

My wife loves this game. She has been playing it for years. She started out playing on her PSP and hasn't stopped. We recently purchased a PS5 and this is the perfect new game for her.
