Was very good I have it in my living room and it cools very well.

Been using this dehumidifier for 3 weeks now and it works great in a 20 x 14 basement. I'll set the timer for 3-4 hours at 40% humidity at high fan speed. It will typically drop the humidity levels from 85% to 50% in my basement and you can really feel the difference. This unit does not come with the pump for the condensate but has a gravity fed outlet, and a collection tank. Using the tank is not inconvenient as long as you do not leave the unit running indefinetely. Either it shuts off when full or once the timer stops empty out the water. This unit is not too loud and does not generate a lot of heat.

I'm being asked to review this having owned and operated it for only a few weeks. That said, I'm pleased. I didn't know how much water I needed to extract from the air, I had read dehumidifiers often don't last long (so i didn't want an unknown manufacturer), I wanted a reasonably low energy use unit and a reasonably quiet unit. This Honeywell unit has fitted my situation, to date. The water storage container of this unit holds only 7 pints, but that is more than I need—so this was a good choice for me. Honeywell is a long-time major technology company, and the unit seems well-made—so I have no reason not to expect use from it for many years. The way I use it doesn't take a lot of energy. And although I wouldn't say it's 'quiet,' other units I looked at had higher decibel ratings. It came quickly after I ordered it. Best Buy sold it at a good price. Fed Ex delivery was terrible: they just left it in my yard. They didn't even try to carry it to the house, where they would have found a covered porch.

This is a very good product working top notch all the time only downside is it has to have a bigger tank

It works very well. It does what it is supposed to do. It has to be emptied frequently due to the small size of the bucket.

It runs quiet. Very easy to empty the water. Love that it has a light letting you know when the filter needs cleaning.

I got this for my 300 sq ft basement one month ago. It was pretty easy to unbox, set up, and use but I do have several complaints. The fan is always running even if it’s reached the desired humidity level. My last unit would slip into standby mode to conserve energy and turn back on when the humidity goes up but this is always on. Even though it’s running constantly it can’t seem to lower the relative humidity below 55%. I set it to 35% just to see if it could do it and it just bottomed out at 55%. The continuous drainage function is great because I prefer to have it empty the water into my sump pump. But, hose is very short- 3 ft. Will have to invest in a longer hose that fits the valve so I can move the humidifier further from the drain. Overall, the unit is too weak for a humid 300 sq ft basement, let alone a 1,500 sq ft basement it’s marketed for. It’s probably best for a small bathroom or bedroom.

Easy to set up and quiet; definitely worth the money

Works great and is doing its job! I set it to auto and when it feels the humidity it kicks in! Love it! Thought I’d have to purchase a new bathroom door but it even sucked the built up humidity from that! It saved me money!

I really like the device and the options to customize humidity levels, but I wish the tank was a little larger, as i feel like I'm emptying it at least once a day sometimes even twice.

Considering its dimensions, it works quite well and looks automatic. We use it in a 100 sqft area and it is quite successful.

It does what you purchase it for and appears to be solidly built. Would rate it a five if not for two things. it does generate a bit more noise than the unit it replaced. If you are emptying the bucket as opposed to feeding a drain you will be emptying it frequently as it has a small holding capacity.

Is a little louder than I'd like but it works well

Much lighter than my previous dehumidifier. I especially appreciate the digital percent humidity display.

It works great. If i had to do the order again i would buy a larger capacity one though as i use it in my cellar and have to empty it frequently.

Works like a charm, our bathroom was having mood issues and since we bought this it has stopped. Also makes our bedroom feel warmer too, would recommend.
