Customer Ratings & Reviews

Love the design and the feel of these joy pads for Nintendo Switch OLED, kind of pricey but the quality of them is high grade. Sadly they only work in handheld mode and do not have a vibrate feature or a battery/wireless feature. Because of those 3 reasons I’d give these Joy Pads a total rating of an 8.5/10.

Love these alternative to joycons. Yes they dont work without being on the system and have no rumble or nfc but thats what i have the pro controller for and i dont really need rumble. I just need a comfortable controller for adult hands which the joycons are definently not. Definently recomended.

Such a cool looking set of pads. They are also very comfortable and ergonomic. I also love that it fits in the dock with the pads connected, my previous pair didn’t fit & was very annoying. Only downside to this is no amiibo support nor gyro controls which can affect playing games such as Tears of the Kingdom. Otherwise, very happy with these!!

The Hori compact split pads are good - for handheld only. Remember that they cannot be used while the switch is docked. Additionally there is no rumble whatsoever on these. Looks and feel are great, but for the price I would expect more features. Buttons and joysticks are also great to the touch.

I love that these are bigger to make it easier to hold. Great price for on the go and the details a clear. Love the additional 'FR and FL' buttons.

So cute just wish they weren’t so expensive , feels better then the original handles

These feel amazing and i have big hands. More comfortable than the joycons and the design is great.

But isnt wireless that mean only work atachet to the nintendo but is workin bien

The way it feel is great and the design is amazing. Would buy it for someone that likes Pokemon or would like other style of joy con for their Nintendo Switch.

[Employee of bestbuy] Great grip but i had to swap mine out for a new one because there was drift on the right stick. Other than that, great controller

These controllers are so cute and incredibly comfortable to hold, 10/10 for sure : ]

Works very great and love the design and style on both joycon

Opt in for the split pad pro and compact for alternatives from joy con drifting, split pad pro is a little bigger for big hands while the compact just fit perfectly. Button and stick is perfect in the pro and compact no more worry about drifting

Way better than original original joycons , its similiar to playing with a pro controller. Plus if youre a pokemon fan these are perfect!

Better build quality then the Split pad Pro and great thumb sticks but I wish they made this controller in the same transparent Black that the pro controller has

These have to be the best remotes iv ever had and there gengar too!! Thats a plus!

These are the best none Bluetooth controllers I have ever owned. I would recommend them to anyone.

very nice case has precise compartments for the game cards my son is super happy with his new case

I wish it had some type of warning that it is not Bluetooth compatible. Bought it for my kids to have extra remotes not knowing this is not remotes that can be used off the console. Only way to use them is connected to the console only.

[Employee of bestbuy] I bought these for my switch oled. The buttons feel great, the wider controller fits better in my hand and the curves on the back make it more comfortable to hold while handheld! Only issues is.. it wont fit on the switch if you have a casing or anything on the switch. I have a clear case around my switch to help protect the design (Pokemon Oled switch) but I have to take the clear casing off to fit the joycons. So great for those who dont have a case on the switch, if you do, none of the other wider joycons will work, only the thinner ones
