We wanted to find a balance between a quality display with good features without breaking the bank. We've had this 70" Insignia for 2 months now, and we're quite happy with it. The built-in smart features work well. We use it for streaming, as well as with our traditional cable box and blue ray player - all look great. The only weakness we see, common with many larger screens, and we're not concerned with, is it doesn't natively do very well at upscaling lower-definition content. (like an old home VHS recording) Its picture is great with better HD and 4k content. The sound is good from the TV itself, but since we're using it for a pseudo home-theater in our basement we have the output from the TV going into a surround sound system we have and that sounds even better. One super impressive thing I'll mention is how light weight this TV is for its size! (around 35 lbs.) It is super easy to handle, and if you are wall mounting it you won't need some over-the-top heavy-duty mount. A lightweight generic flat wall mount or pivoting arm mount will handle this TV easily. We happened to leave it free standing on a console I customized to fit how we wanted it in our basement. To give you an idea of size - the stand we have the TV sitting on is 35 inches high and 63 inches wide.

Plus, the wide range of apps available, including popular streaming services like Netflix, Prime Video, and Disney+, makes this TV a one-stop entertainment hub. I also love how seamless it integrates with my other Alexa devices. Design & Build: The design is sleek and modern, with thin bezels that give it a more premium look. It doesn’t take up much space, which is great for a 70-inch screen. Setting it up was straightforward, and the remote is responsive, with dedicated buttons for streaming services like Netflix and Hulu. Value for Money: The biggest highlight for me has been the value. It’s tough to find a 70-inch TV with smart capabilities at such an affordable price. Insignia has definitely hit the sweet spot between size, features, and cost. For anyone looking for a large, feature-packed TV that doesn’t cost a fortune, this is an excellent choice. Final Thoughts: Overall, the Insignia 70" Fire TV is a fantastic buy for those looking to enhance their home entertainment experience. Vibrant picture, great viewing at side angles! No dead pixels anywhere:) Best Buy delivered on time and in great shape (the box). Very satisfied! We bout the Insignia F30 model a few years back for another room and its been fine ever since too:) I know some folks only want the higher end technology but my income cant justify it. I have grandkids and medical bills that come first so a $2,000 tv is out of the question. Thank you Best Buy for three total TV purchases (last year we bought a Toshiba Fore tv) and not even a slight issue with any of them!
