This Insignia DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter seems to be made of solid materials and worked just fine...for 6 weeks. Then it stopped working. The DisplayPort end was also incredibly hot to the touch and I'm just happy it didn't damage my computer. I tried other cables and adapters and the computer output was fine; it was the adapter that went bad. I saw that there is a 15 day (!!!) return/exchange policy at Best Buy but thought I should at least check if I could exchange for a new adapter as Insignia is a Best Buy brand, but no luck. I'm terribly disappointed in this product and the incredibly short return/exchange window but for the month-and-a-half it did work, it worked fine. I don't know that I would ever buy an Insignia product again especially since the price runs about twice as much as the cost of this type of adapter almost anywhere else and the return/exchange window is so short.

Great cable, this come handy for any IT department. If your PC doesn't have an HDMI port for video. This will do the trick.
