A: It will protect it for the most part. It's not as indestructible (I use that term loosely) like an Otterbox, but it does the basic job. If you're prone to dropping your phone a lot, I wouldn't get it. Go with something thicker. I hardly drop my phone, if at all, so this is great to protect against scratches.

Cracked my iPhone 7 Plus Screen
It's a nice case, thin and very minimal. I enjoyed it until it slipped out the pocket of my sweat pants and landed on the corner of the case before landing on the face on my stairs outside. The case still looks great but now there's a crack going across my screen. Would've bought the Apple case but Best Buy didn't stock them yet. Used it with my iPhone 6 and had no problems when dropping especially from a short distance.
