This is the perfect solution for keeping your existing radio and adding Bluetooth capability. I installed this unit in my '05 Trailblazer because I was looking to keep my stock Bose radio with XM and Onstar. It installed neatly behind the dash and has been functioning flawlessly with my Samsung Note 4. Streams music and phone calls. A few notes: NO, if you're listening to the radio it will not interrupt for the phone call. NO, you cannot listen to the radio with the unit on. When the unit is on it turns off the antenna. I would also highly recommend professional installation. I am a certified Master tech and even I needed to consult the wiring diagrams for the HVAC and entertainment unit to be sure I wasn't splicing into a data line for power and ground. Don't forget cars made after the late 90's use computer data lines as well as power and ground lines for all the different modules.

I had this installed in a 2002 Maxima with Bose audio system. The installation looks good and unobtrusive - all that can be seen is just a small button on the center console and small microphone up by the visor. The adapter works well - it reliably connects with my phone when I start the car, and calls are easy to handle with the simple press of the button on the console. Music streaming is clear but the overall volume is low (which is as much of a problem with the phone as it is with the adapter) - because of this I have the system volume up higher than normal, which makes phone calls come through loud and scratchy. So I find that I need to constantly play with the volume control to get a good level.

I have a 2007 vehicle and it only had Bluetooth for the phone and not for the iPod. After years of buying connection wires, which was yearly due to wear and tear, I decided to invest in this product. It works really great and the sound is better than I expected. My only gripe is in case the connectivity fails and cannot be established, than I have to make a trip to Best Buy. This only happened once since I bought it 5 months ago. Excellent buy and I feel is a smart investment.

Worked great on the first unit. The cell phone and next button did not work. Replaced the unit and it worked fine. The installation guides did a wonderful job of placing the unit and the speaker microphone. It works really well and I got to keep the OEM system.

Clear good quality and quick connect. Easy use and best thing I bought instead of changing my original equipment

I got this for my wife's 2008 Honda Accord, so that she could be safer with hands-free phone. This device works great, with a built-in mic and sound through the radio's speakers. The only drawback is that the radio has to be on "Auxiliary" input, so if on another setting, she has to press 2 buttons - not best but manageable. On the plus side, did not need major rebuild of the facia & disconnection of other components if I had installed a new radio with blue-tooth. Blue tooth connection was easy.

Got this to update my wife's trailblazer because it was much cheaper than replacing the factory Bose system. We're glad we went this route. It's easy to use and the mic blends in well. I'm impressed with how quickly it connects to the phone when we start the vehicle.

Our car was not directly compatible with a new in-dash stereo unit. This item was recommended by the Best Buy rep as a good alternate. It is very easy to use, and phones pair very easily. The sound quality is very good.

I have tried multiple fm transmitters over the years and none really worked until now. The unit connects directly to the antenna and there is no interference at all. Volume and sound quality is excellent and it is simple to use, and the Bluetooth connect gets rid of messy cables. One observation, take advantage of included geek squad installation it only takes a half hour and they have all the right tools.

My radio is the version right before the aux input. So it was either install a new radio at $800 or get a bluetooth device. The Tranzit Blu has been a great investment! Best Buy even matched the Amazon online price, bringing my install and purchase price to $80.00. Awesome!!

I love the sound of my app audio when connected to tranzit blu. It automatically connects if your phones blu tooth is on.It has an app that can connect several phones or tablet but if the apps disconnect, it will ask you to reboot the hardware which impossible for me since its embedded inside my cars radio. It still connect to your default phone but the apps will be useless until the hardware can be reboot again.

Great idea for older cars. Works like bluetooth. Easy set up.

If you have an older model vehicle and looking a way to connect your smartphone to your vehicle this is the way to go. A very simple installation and it works great. Compatible with all smartphones via Bluetooth. No more searching through stations to find a good feedback to play your music or answer a call.

I purchased this product for our first vehicle found it was an exultant aftermarket add on for Bluetooth so we installed the same product in our second vehicle just as the first works perfectly allows all feature of our phone to work via Bluetooth through the factory radio

I get great sound (music and phone calls) from my mobile device through hands free Bluetooth. Very convenient to use with one exception, to connect you have to hold the button down for 4 seconds. If it took 3 seconds I’d give this item 5 stars.

Love the hands free phone ability now...would recommend to anyone.

We have a 2010 Subaru Outback and wanted to have bluetooth. This was an inexpensive alternative to any other solution. The only disadvantage is that you can't simply say "call x" to have it dial on command like factory installed bluetooth systems in newer cars. Otherwise, it is great.

Easy to use...although the "button" has seven different functions based on how long you press and hold / on a call. The manual does NOT tell you that when the BT is operational, it disengages the interior radio antenna! A press and hold for 4 seconds turns the BT on/off. The BT must be off to use your radio static-free. Mostly clear audio. However, at its core it's an FM transmitter...so when yo go from town to town, you get interference if you're tuned to a frequency close to a local broadcast. Siri response is sluggish using the BT microphone. The microphone can be placed anywhere, but its optimal placement prevents your visor from going all the way to the windshield. I would recommend this device, but with reservation. It's awfully expensive for something that is essentially an FM transmitter attached to the back of your car stereo.
