A: The microphone comes with a 3.5 mm plug (typical for microphones and/or headphones) that would plug into a lighting/3.5 mm adapter. iPhone models use to ship with one, but the 12 doesn't. A: Im sure it would fit, its phone holder stretches a good bit to clamp on just ablut anything. Sturdy too

A: NO. It requires an adapter and still will not work with anything newer than an iphone 12
