I needed something thin to fit behind the rear seat of my '66 convertible VW beetle that didn't get in the way when the top's down. This fit perfectly with room to spare, and it sounds awesome. The bass hits so hard that parts rattle loose and fall off! Seriously though, you're not going to win any competitions but you'll feel the best in your chest and your neighbors will definitely hear you coming.

The 12” 2 ohm sub paired with the cx800.1 fit perfectly after a few modifications to my truck cab. This sub isn’t too punchy and hits superb lows for the size and location. Glad I chose this over the CompRT bass reflex.

Never owned a solo before this one and got to admit it, they hit hard in my single cab f150

I replaced my Sundown Audio 12” with this L7 12” and it didn’t hit as hard. I think the enclosure is too small. Maybe I was expecting too much from it because of its reputation and the 5 star reviews. After tuning it, making sure there was no clipping, and turning up the volume to the maximum before distortion, I closed the doors and listened from the outside. I couldn’t hear much of anything from it. I guess it’ll be good to put under your seat or in a pickup, since it’d be in close proximity, but in a car trunk, I wouldn’t recommend this if you want some loudness or hard hitting bass. Someone told me the 10” actually hits harder but idk

I had to replace my rockford fosgate p3. To make room on my truck. Bass is really similar from my last sub I am using a 600 rms mono amp. And fit perfect behing my seat on my small truck. Would highly recommend if you need something shallow and hits hard.

GREAT unit, sounds good. Loud bass and good quality build. Handles 600w RMS with ease. Highly recommend

First time purchasing a Kicker product. I’ve heard great things about this product line and de used to take a chance. No regrets! Small footprint enclosure that packs a punch. Installed in a 4Runner, fills the airspace perfectly! Highly recommend, especially if using the correct wattage and impedance amplifier and an audio processor.

Subwoofer sounds great, clear bass with my amp. Sadly didn’t fit behind my truck seat, but would recommend it in smaller vehicles.

It's a KICKER... I wouldn't have bought it otherwise....

I have had this sub for a 9 months and have it paired with a 400watt kicker amp and it has begain to blow the voice coils. Kicker says i have to spend more money to ship it back for the warranty when its not my fault its failing. So im looking for another brand and wont buy Kicker again. When it did work properly it was great. And no, i dont even have it set half way up basically. So its not like its overpowering this 1200 watt sub. Kicker has went down hill in quality over the years.

Always been a fan of the L7 series subs. I wanted something that would increase the bass in my vehicle while not taking up any space. This didn't disappoint. Paired it with a cxa 800.1 amp from kicker and it hits pretty hard!

When it worked it was tight and accurate. Just what I wanted. Was driving it with a clean 650 watts One day it just quit. Luckily I’m a total tech member so I was able to exchange it for the ported model. Slams way harder and is still working!!

This subwoofer sounds great!! First i had the downfiring version with 12 inch sub and 12 inch passive radiator which has very sloppy bass. This sub is tight, which is perfect for rock music, but it also can slam and go lower with no sloppiness when i listen old school jams. I have it powered by a 1000 watt mono Kenwood amp which is also great

The sub hits pretty hard for the l7 line up. The design is for a smaller space. In my Ford edge with all the trunk space. After I tried it out for a week I decided to get the l7s cause of the bigger and ported box. Just looking for something with a little more bass.
