I bought this laptop because it was light weight and has the option of being a tablet or a laptop. Easy to use touch screen and it is nice to have the functiinality of using a writing pen to write, color or a multitude of options. so far it has been a great laptop.

I am so glad that I purchased the Lenovo Yoga 720. It has by far exceeded my expectations. The nulti-tasking on this laptop is amazing, the sleek design is awesome, just about everything on this laptop is amazing. I have been bringing this laptop with me everywhere I go. I got 4 people to buy this laptop (2 friends, 2 bosses) who were in the market for a new laptop after I let them try it out. The price is also very good for the quality laptop you are going to be getting. I would recommend anyone whose in the market for a new laptop to seriously consider getting the Lenovo Yoga 720.

I just bought this one and it's my second personal laptop ever. It's a good one to come back to from an older school HP model. It's very sleek, extra thin, and quiet. Easy to carry. It has finger print verification which makes it really easy to use for impatient people like me! The only thing is that it's a little hard to open because the top is so sleek and thin. There is not much of a grip and I think it has a small amount of resistance from a magnet keeping the screen closed. Other than that, I love it!!

Actually, i want to rate the store and the geek squad i have brought a open box Lenovo Yoga 720 Geek certified but it was a having a touch screen problem, since it was Best Buy certified i purchased it, but after traveling 1 hour back to my home i realized the issue, so i came back again travelling one hour back. And i was forced to buy the brand new one Which was costing me additional 46$. which i felt was ridiculous

The 720 is an unbeatable value. Overall this laptop is going to serve me well over the next few years. I purchased it primarily for college work. I do lots of work with the Office suite and other online applications. The laptop has no problem powering through everything I've needed it to so far. The overall Pro's and Con's of this guy are simple. You get great performance, with a fairly decent fit and finish. I've personally found that I only have 2 gripes with the machine and it's the fact that the screen has unbelievable glare and my track pad doesn't seem to be level. Other than that I've got nothing but great things to say. Especially about the battery life. I was a bit weary from what I read online about it, but in my personal usage it manages to last me my entire ten hour day without needing any mid-day charging.

Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Yoga 720-13. With regard to the touchpad, you can make adjustments to the touchpad in your system settings. You can get there by clicking on the magnifying glass at the bottom left of your Windows 10 screen. Type "touchpad" in the search window. Select "Mouse & touchpad settings" from the list of choices. You can make general adjustments to the touchpad there. You can also select "Additional mouse options" for more detailed adjustments to the touchpad sensitivity by increasing the delay of the touchpad. <img src="https://s3.amazonaws.com/stratos-logos/logos/lenovo.png" alt="lenovo" title="lenovo" style="display: block !important; margin-top: 2em !important; border: 1px solid #ccc !important; padding: 2px !important; background-color: white !important;" />

Lenovo: A little heavier. Much flimsier. Only because the surface was so solid. Yoga can get warm to the touch where surface never did (no fans either). A little More screen which was still lacking when writing. Surface Pros 2K resolution screen will be missed. Track and touch screen good. The glass screen soaks up finger prints like crazy. Much more noticeable than surface. And the pen recognition is incredibly finicky (at times) when you palm is not entirely pressed down when writing. Better battery life by about a 1.5 - 2 hours. Surface Pro offers a bunch of polish and many luxuries that should be staples in the tablet realm. But they are ALL only small luxuries. Still would stay with the Yoga 720. More RAM and better processor. ALMOST HALF the price.

I'm still getting used to it especially since im.used to using my phone and tablet and a lot of processes are different. Sometimes seems to run slow, but that could be our internet speed, I'm not sure. Had trouble loading me email after an update and the Microsoft support desk was useless. They made it even worse. Don't bother with them. Some settings are really difficult to find if you want to change or turn them off, but that could also be microsoft windows 10. I really like the size and lightness of the laptop and that I can convert it to tablet mode or any way in between. Really makes reading a lot easier than holding my tablet up in bed late at night. My arms would get tired and now they don't. The sound is pretty good for what I do. I don't stream shows really and only listen to music sometimes, but it sounds full and nice, not tinny or anything. Battery lasts about 4 hours with continual use, longer on standby and charges relatively fast, in about an hour or so from 15-20% battery life left. Overall I'm happy with the product, there's always something you can find that you'd like to change or have, but nothing I'd take it back for. We were really lucky that it went on sale a few days after we bought it and Best Buy credited us the difference. Score!

I think this was the best choice I ever made in a computer. It's well built, has a slick metallic finish, excellent keyboard (even back lit), good speakers for a 13.3 and an extremely fast solid state hard drive (my model has 250 gb with 8 mb of RAM. Folks don't even think about getting anything less than 8 megs of RAM if you are running Windows 10. I quickly exchanged a lower model that had a standard ATA hard drive (500 gb) but only 4 MB of RAM and all of my work slowed to a crawl waiting for apps to open, for apps to save work. This baby is an absolute powerhouse demon. It's way faster than my desktop which has a huge screen. The colors and screen I find to be quite beautiful and clear. The battery life for me is great - I'm averaging I think between 5-7 hours and the unit is quiet -- I don't even think I've ever heard a fan come on --- it generates very mild heat - compared to some of the nightmare models that I've seen in other reviews that get so hot you cannot even keep it on your lap, this is a godsend. The only small issue I had (and only discovered it after about 2 weeks of use) was when I went to use the camera for a video conference, it wasn't working. Well, actually, there was nothing wrong with the camera. I did a quick Google search and found others had the same issue while running Windows 10. I just had to uninstall the camera and reinstall it (along with the drivers) and wallah! The camera works perfectly. It's extremely light. I zip it up in a sleeve, and put the sleeve in my briefcase and I'm good to go. the power cable is normal size - no big transformer. The ports are fine - its got two of the newest USB ports and one legacy USB port - good enough for me. It also folds back to be used as a tablet - which also works very well. For the price, I would say this is quite a powerhouse. I'm extremely happy with my purchase.

Battery life is decent, especially if you adjust the screen brightness. This has been a really good computer approximately a month into using it. My only complaint is the fact that you only get 2 USB-C ports and 1 USB port, but that is the price for a lighter/travel friendly computer. If you buy adapters for using at home make sure you buy the J5. I tried two different types (insignia and something else) and they did not work. Save yourself the hassle and headache and by the J5.

Compact, easily portable, and fast. It's so thin and light that I carry it in addition to my full-sized work laptop (company provided). In comparison, the Yoga is not only more easily portable, it's also faster. Great option for working during air travel. I bought a pen to use with the touch screen and am still learning how best to use that.

This laptop has been a dream of usefulness, speediness, and excellence. Didn't really know how well this computer was put together until looking at current similar models. Great sound, screen, battery life, weight, and looks. Running as well today as it was at the time I bought it. Current models and specs are priced about the same as the price I purchased this over two and a half years ago. Has everything I'd want in an easily portable computer, as nice as any Macbook, at half the price. Bought an active pen from Lenovo on eBay for $12. It only gets better.

Bought this computer for $620. Also bought the Lenovo pen online, I think it is better than the Bamboo pen. Really excellent computer, light weight and fast. Needed to buy a usb-c hub to add hdmi out, rj45 connector and a couple more USB 3.0 hubs just in case.

Lenovo - Yoga 720 2-in-1 13.3" Touch-Screen Laptop - Intel Core i5 - 8GB Memory - 256GB Solid State Drive - Platinum Silver After much due diligence on my part and several trips to Best Buy and other on-line sites I replaced an HP Desktop computer that has served me well over several years by purchasing a Lenovo - Yoga 720 2-in-1 13.3" Touch-Screen Laptop - Intel Core i5 - 8GB Memory - 256GB Solid State Drive in Platinum Silver. I was looking for a machine that was fast, affordable, small to transport yet large enough display and enough juice to last several hours when mobile and could serve as a desktop as well eliminating the need for 2 machines. After approximately 60 days of use both as a laptop and desktop I am pleased to write in this review that the Lenovo - Yoga 720 2-in-1 13.3" Touch-Screen Laptop - Intel Core i5 - 8GB Memory - 256GB Solid State Drive - Platinum Silver has been the perfect answer for my needs and I am extremely pleased with my purchase. In addition to purchasing the Yoga 720 I also invested in the following: j5create - 2-Port USB 3.0 Hub with HDMI and Gigabit Ethernet USB Type-C Adapter – Silver Model: JCA374 SKU: 5602501, this allows for one plug cable into the USB-C type connector on the Yoga 720 for hardwire internet, remote display, power cord connection and 2 USB ports for either the: LG - 8x External USB Double-Layer DVD±RW/CD-RW Drive Model: SP80NB80 SKU: 5852919 WD - easystore® 4TB External USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive Model: WDBKUZ0040BBK-WESN SKU: 5792405 I also interface previously Best Buy purchased items as well being a Logitech - MK530 Advanced Wireless Keyboard and Optical Mouse Model: 920-008002 SKU: 5106401 and a Sony 40” Bravia EX600 HDTV as a remote display when in desktop mode which when I put everything described above together works GREAT as a replacement Desktop for me. As far as a Laptop or Tablet the Yoga 720 has a 13.3 touch screen with adequate display size, resolution and brightness for me, an illuminated key board that is comfortable and easy to type on with a touch pad large enough for anything I’d need a touch pad to do when I’m on the go. The Yoga 720 is also Windows ink ready which I haven’t utilized as of yet however, I do plan to purchase a Wacom - Bamboo Ink Smart Stylus -Model: CS321AK SKU: 5731102 in the very near future to take advantage of the Windows Ink ready feature.
