Many key pad selections
Purchased this because of the key pad across the lower door and it provides more direct options. Options include turning off the rotating glass tray, helpful to allow an oversized dish. Sensor cooking is awesome. Easy clean interior is good, a little darker than a stainless interior, so lighting is not a good. Kinda hard to see the interior items. Easy to install and the recirculating fan is good. I don’t have a venting to exterior. The microwave is pretty quite and the has a fan sound when operating. Door positively latches. The clock is small and can be energy saver shut off when idle.

Installed easily, looks good and works great. The only thing that needs improvement is a brighter interior light.

Complex for no reason, but works well!
This microwave isn't anything spectacular. It does it's job, but I'm not "wowed" by any of the features or performance. The bottom control feature is great, but I'm left wondering why LG didn't take the opportunity to use the portion to the right of the door for anything more useful than a blank, useless area. To me, making the entire front of the microwave the door would have been more appealing because then, the thing would look magnificent - even if the cooking space inside were the same size as it is already. As it sits, there's this large blank space where the controls would normally be, for no reason other than saving cost - I suppose. The microwave works as it should. It features handy preset buttons for items like "MAC & CHEESE", "HOT DOG", and "CHICKEN NUGGETS", but they don't get much use because they instill no real confidence as opposed to just selecting the amount of time you want the microwave to, well, microwave whatever you put in there. If anything, I'm less confident in those presets because, well, it's a mystery how LG thinks a hot dog should be cooked as compared to 45 seconds of 1,000W worth of microwaving. Nonetheless, the machine works well. The popcorn button is the only button I use that puts the "sensor" to use, the rest is the traditional select how much time and hit "go" process as it's been for the past 20 years - not much to "write home" about.
