A: The controls are horizontal across the bottom of the door. Great for shorter people, kids, and petite women!
Q: Does this microwave have the option of venting to the outside?
A: Yes, you can vent outside, roof or back wall. Just review the LG installation manual. Those who say you can't don't know what they are talking about, including the LG answer.
Q: Is the entire keypad backlit?
A: The only thing lit on the front of the microwave is the "Clock Window" in the middle of the panel.
A: The Countertop/Night light bulb for the LG 2.0 cu. ft. Over-the-Range Microwave Oven with EasyClean®, Model # LMVM20ST is a halogen lamp. It can be replaced with an equivalent LED Light. Make sure to take note of the wattage on the bulb so you can find its equivalent LED Lamp...^IFV
A: Is over the range microwave. Model is with lights and grease filter at the bottom, also carbon filters at the top.
Q: Does this microwave need to be vented to the outside?
A: You may vent your oven in one of three ways, Roof, Wall or Room venting. However, do NOT vent into a wall cavity, an attic, or an unused area. The ductwork you need for outside ventilation is not included with your oven. ^Daphane
A: Mine is vented to the outside through the roof. I am not sure on the CFM but it works well for normal cooking as a vent. Cooking potatoes or noodles doesn't have much of an issue. I haven't cooked anything greasy.
