Verry happy with this 27 inch monitor. I use it for console gaming and my MacBook. It isn’t 4k for consoles but on the Xbox series X it says it supports 4k at 60hz. But 1440p at 120hz should be just fine for gaming. The legs for this monitor are pretty big if you are limited on space, so I’m using a pole mount for the monitor. It saves space on your desk and gives everything a sleek look. This 27inch monitor should be good for a 40x20 inch desk.

I bought this monitor on sale. I needed a 1440 p monitor that had fast response time and 144 hz and is IPS. Now the colors are good right out the box at least for me. There were no dead pixels, no color correcting was needed. It comes with a display port and no HDMI cable, I triple checked and I didn’t get an HDMI, not a big deal at all. It runs smoothly, no tearing was seen, no issues at all. The power bottom is underneath the monitor and you can switch between the different HDMI ports, there’s two of them and I think you can switch back and forth between the display port as well. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase and I do recommend getting one. Also I didn’t have mine shipped, I went directly to the store to pick it up because things can be very easily damaged during shipping!

This LG UltraGear 27" has been great not just for gaming, but also for work and coding. The QHD resolution is sharp and the IPS panel has good color and viewing angles, so text looks clean and easy to read during long coding sessions. The 27" size feels perfect on my desk – big enough for multitasking and side-by-side windows without feeling overwhelming. For gaming, the 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time make everything feel smooth, and the G-SYNC compatibility helps reduce screen tearing. HDR is a nice bonus in supported games and videos. If it had height adjustment, it would honestly be perfect. Also, this is an older model, and I know the latest UltraGear monitors come with more features and updated specs. And there is screen bleed which is spreading on 3 corners But for my needs, it still serves the purpose very well and offers great value. I’d definitely not recommend to buy it right now cuz, you can find better monitors with better deals someone who wants a solid 27" monitor for both gaming and productivity.

A solid monitor with G-Sync, 1-ms response, 27' display with very little borders, and a QHD resolution. This has been a much needed upgrade for me and I'm very happy with my purchase.

[Employee of bestbuy] Its absolutely amazing for both PS5 and PC gaming. I would highly recommend if your PC can support high frame rates with 1440p. Great bang for your buck for sure

I noticed the FPS immediately, and all the games melted my eyes…. for the price it’s definitely worth it

Awesome screen. Paid $180 for it and it’s worth every penny. Nice and crisp. Personally I’m an OLED guy but for my daughter, it was perfect.

Absolutely love this monitor. Going from gaming on a cheap monitor to this one, my gameplay got even better. Picture is so clear and refresh rate is spectacular.

Best budget wise monitor I’ve ever bought and my first one aswell. LG always clutching with their consumers. 2k 144hz IPS?!? Can’t go wrong with that. It has been flawless. Runs so smoothly and looks great basic stand but gets the job done doesn’t moves around and it’s heavy so you know it’s good quality made. The display quality can’t be compared with a oled ofc lol. But compared with a VA gaming monitor IPS is the way to go. It has G-sync option amd sync or whatever you call it aswell. Would def recommend this and the Asus VG27AQ TUF Gaming 27 inch, 2K, HDR, QHD (2560 x 1440) 165hz for an extra performance. The LG one comes with 2 hdmi ports a display port and a H/P port

Good monitor it is much better then previous ones I had. One thing is the stand that comes with is not that great compared to some of the cheaper monitors that had before. The stand is virtually non adjustable and sits pretty low compared to where i would like it. That said you can order a new stand and I would be pretty happy with the monitor in itself.

As an avid gamer and professional who demands high-performance computing, finding a monitor that satisfies both worlds of intensive graphic work and immersive gaming is paramount. The LG UltraGear 27” IPS QHD G-SYNC Compatible Monitor not only meets but surmounts these requisites, presenting a staggering blend of impeccable performance and resplendent visuals. First and foremost, the QHD Resolution (2560 x 1440) strikes an admirable balance between screen real estate and sharp, crisp visuals. The higher resolution paves the way for more vivid and detailed imaging, ensuring that both my design work and in-game environments are rendered with extraordinary clarity and precision. The incorporation of IPS (In-Plane Switching) technology is another compelling feature that stands out. Offering wider viewing angles and incredible color accuracy, it's a delight to witness consistent, vibrant colors from virtually any viewpoint. This proves to be indispensable when engaged in color-critical work, or simply when sharing the screen with others. One of the critical features for gamers is the G-SYNC compatibility. Synchronizing the monitor's refresh rate with the GPU, it obliterates screen tearing and minimizes display stutter and input lag. The tangible impact during fast-paced gaming is unmissable, providing a noticeably smoother and more immersive experience. The LG UltraGear also boasts an impressively rapid response time and high refresh rate, which, when combined, deliver incredibly smooth and blur-free visuals. This is particularly evident in high-octane gaming scenarios where every millisecond counts, enhancing my competitive edge and making for a far more engaging experience. Ergonomically, the adjustable stand and sleek, minimalist design allow it to meld seamlessly into any workspace or gaming setup. Its aesthetic appeal is matched by its functionality, ensuring that it is not just a visual treat but also a practical addition to the desk. The user-friendly interface and easily navigable OSD (On-Screen Display) add to the list of pros, making it straightforward to adjust settings and customize the display to personal preferences.

s an avid gamer, I recently had the opportunity to try out the LG 27" UltraGear QHD IPS Gaming Monitor with G-SYNC Compatibility, and I must say, it left a lasting impression. With its impressive features and immersive visuals, this monitor delivered an exceptional gaming experience. First and foremost, the 27-inch QHD IPS display is a sight to behold. The picture quality is sharp and vibrant, with accurate colors and wide viewing angles. Whether I was exploring vast open worlds or engaging in fast-paced multiplayer battles, the visuals were crisp and detailed, bringing my games to life. One of the standout features of this monitor is its G-SYNC compatibility. The adaptive sync technology ensures that the monitor's refresh rate matches the GPU's output, resulting in buttery-smooth gameplay with reduced screen tearing and stuttering. This feature significantly enhanced my gaming sessions, providing a fluid and responsive experience. The monitor's fast 1ms response time was another highlight. It minimized motion blur, allowing me to react swiftly to in-game actions. Combined with its 144Hz refresh rate, the monitor excelled in delivering smooth and fluid gameplay, particularly in fast-paced genres like first-person shooters and racing games. The ergonomic design of the monitor deserves a mention as well. It offers versatile adjustments, including height, tilt, and swivel, ensuring optimal comfort during long gaming sessions. The slim bezels also contribute to an immersive viewing experience, particularly when using multiple monitors for an expansive setup. However, there are a few areas where the monitor could be improved. The monitor's HDR performance, while decent, may not match the dynamic range and brightness levels found in more premium HDR displays. In conclusion, the LG 27" UltraGear QHD IPS Gaming Monitor with G-SYNC Compatibility is an impressive gaming monitor that offers a visually stunning experience with its sharp picture quality and vibrant colors. The G-SYNC compatibility and fast response time contribute to smooth gameplay, while the ergonomic design enhances comfort during extended sessions. the overall gaming experience this monitor provides is exceptional. Excellent Tv, great buy, good picture. And color. Recommend.

Great monitor, but hang on to your receipt in case of defects. I had to return mine after having two separate issues with vertical lines of color blocking out my screen. Power cycling the monitor removed the lines after a few cycles, but left ghosting lines that returned to full color after a few days even when disconnected from my PC. I ordered the same model as a replacement, very happy with it other than the QC issue described above. Colors, resolution, and refresh rate are excellent for gaming at this price point.

I know he wanted a good monitor but something more cost effecient… i was recommended this monitor by a rep at the store and he loves it! I noticed the screen has a high quality image. The display itself is perfect because hes a gamer and sitting close up with a screen that fits your eyes! GREAT PRICE, GREAT MONITOR!

An amazing monitor for an extremely affordable price, An IPS display that made everything from simply my background to videogames look so much more colorful, and with a noticeable difference. And a refresh rate up to 144hz which makes this one of the best monitors for gaming. Also worth mentioning that it was extremely easy to set up, took only a few minutes. And the monitor settings are pretty easy to get around as well.

absoletely love this monitor with both quality and looks being amazing. been using it for many years and it shes not once glitched or given me problems not even a single pixel out of order. i think i even accidentally smacked it very hard out of anger on a game and it still looks and performs as good as the day i bought her

I love the monitor so far its great with fps games like call of duty. I recommend it because the cod pros perfer the greater ppi (pixels per inch). No built-in speakers so you will need to use your own set of computer speakers to connect.

I originally had the version that was only 1080p, and wow does the updated resolution make a difference! 1440p is definitely the way to go with a monitor, and this one is perfect. Great for PS5 gaming!

The monitor does it's job fine, however I noticed that while using the HDR the refresh rate is limited to only 60hz and 100hz, but when it's disabled 120hz and 144hz can be used, there's no disclaimer of this anywhere on the site or other places online
