Customer Ratings & Reviews

So much better then the quest 2 I upgraded from, Being able to use my eyes to look around before having to turn my head is a big plus. Every thing is so much clearer, The controllers are easier to use due to there not being that ring thing in the way. One of the major issues i had with the quest 2 was the tad dizziness i would get depending on the game, But not on the quest 3, no issues with the movement, every thing is perfect and i could play games without getting that dizzy feeling.

Higher-quality, color cameras are now included with the headset. The pancake lens is significantly clearer and the chip is much faster than the Quest 2. This is a good headset, but I wish it had displayport support so I could connect it straight to my PC without compression, unlike virtual desktop or link cables. Controllers are super light, but I dislike the strap the headset comes with; its uncomfortable. I had to buy a third-party one. Also, battery life is subpar and can be fixed with a battery strap.

The Quest 3 headset is an amazing upgrade for anyone who loves VR. The visuals are super clear, and the colors look vibrant, making games and apps feel more real. It’s also lightweight and comfortable to wear, even during long sessions. The controllers are easy to use and very responsive, which makes gameplay smooth and fun. Another great thing is how fast it sets up—no complicated steps, just put it on and dive into VR. The built-in features like mixed reality and improved tracking make it stand out. Overall, it’s a great device for both beginners and experienced VR users!

This is a great product, my experience with this Meta Quest is fantastic, I am very happy with this purchase! I don’t have any complaints about it knowing what I know while purchasing it, the sound quality is good and the games graphics are fantastic!

It’s great when it works, but I’m having terrible difficulties, keeping the hand controllers connected to the headset even after multiple repairing and factory resets

**Meta Quest 3 Review: A Leap into the Future of VR** The Meta Quest 3 is a remarkable advancement in the world of virtual reality, building on the solid foundation laid by its predecessors while introducing a host of innovative features that elevate the VR experience to new heights. As someone who has explored various VR headsets, I can confidently say that the Quest 3 stands out as a game-changer in the industry. **Design and Comfort:** Right out of the box, the Meta Quest 3 impresses with its sleek and modern design. The headset is lighter and more comfortable than previous models, making it easy to wear for extended gaming sessions. The adjustable straps and improved padding ensure a snug fit, while the overall build quality feels premium. The enhanced ergonomics allow for a more immersive experience without the discomfort that can sometimes accompany long VR sessions. **Visuals and Performance:** One of the standout features of the Quest 3 is its stunning visual fidelity. With a higher resolution display and improved optics, the graphics are incredibly sharp and vibrant. Colors pop, and the level of detail in games and experiences is truly breathtaking. The upgraded Snapdragon chipset provides a significant boost in performance, resulting in smoother frame rates and faster load times. Whether you’re exploring fantastical worlds or engaging in intense action games, the visual experience is nothing short of mesmerizing. **Mixed Reality Capabilities:** The Quest 3 takes a bold step into the realm of mixed reality with its advanced passthrough technology. The ability to seamlessly blend the virtual and real worlds opens up a plethora of new possibilities for gaming and interactive experiences. The passthrough is impressively clear, allowing users to navigate their physical environment without removing the headset. This feature not only enhances gameplay but also makes it easier to stay aware of your surroundings, adding a layer of safety that is often overlooked in VR. **Game Library and Content:** Meta has made significant strides in expanding its game library, and the Quest 3 is no exception. With a diverse range of titles available at launch, from immersive single-player adventures to engaging multiplayer experiences, there’s something for everyone. The platform continues to support indie developers, ensuring a steady stream of fresh and innovative content. The backward compatibility with Quest 2 titles means that existing users can easily transition to the new headset without losing access to their favorite games. **User Experience and Interface:** Navigating the Quest 3’s interface is intuitive and user-friendly. The updated software provides a seamless experience, making it easy to find and launch games, customize settings, and connect with friends. The social features are robust, allowing users to share experiences and connect with others in the VR space. The integration of voice commands and hand tracking further enhances the overall user experience, making interactions feel natural and fluid. **Battery Life and Portability:** While the battery life is decent, it’s worth noting that intensive gaming sessions can drain the battery more quickly. However, the convenience of being a standalone device means you can easily take it on the go. The lightweight design and portability make it a great option for those who want to enjoy VR experiences anywhere. **Conclusion:** In summary, the Meta Quest 3 is a stellar addition to the virtual reality landscape. With its impressive visuals, comfortable design, and innovative mixed reality features, it sets a new standard for what VR can achieve. Whether you’re a seasoned VR enthusiast or a newcomer to the space, the Quest 3 offers an unparalleled experience that is both engaging and immersive. If you’re looking to dive into the future of virtual reality, the Meta Quest 3 is undoubtedly worth the investment.

I recently got my hands on the Meta Quest 3, and I must say, it’s a big improvement over the Quest 2 that I have had. The design is incredibly sleek and comfortable, making long VR sessions a breeze. The mixed reality features with color passthrough are just amazing. It’s quite a bit pricier than Quest 2, so I bought a refurbished 512GB set from Bestbuy which works well so far. I dont have any problem with using the headset together with my glasses, but I'm thinking about buying magnetic prescription lenses for my Quest 3 headset in the future. If you’re into VR, the Meta Quest 3 is definitely a must-have!

Excellent value for wireless VR. The pancake lenses are a massive upgrade. Having nearly edge-to-edge clarity is great. Screen door effect is minimized, but it's still present. Meta Quest 3 has a PPD (pixels per degree) of 25 so it's not enough to truly get rid of that. But to my knowledge there aren't any pancake lenses on the market that achieve that, currently, and when one does come out it will probably be a lot more expensive. It is quite uncomfortable at stock though and so you'll want to factor in the cost of an alternative faceplate and headband. My open box unit did have some fine scratches on one of the lenses, but since this is not going to be consistent between units, I'm not factoring it into the review.

I bought the Meta Quest 3 for my son’s birthday, and it’s safe to say it was a huge hit. He’s been using it daily, and I’ve had a chance to try it out myself—here’s our honest take as a parent and a curious bystander. For My Son: He’s absolutely loving it. The graphics are sharp, the motion is smooth, and the new games and apps are super engaging. He’s especially into VR games like Beat Saber, Superhot, and Job Simulator. The mixed reality feature (where the real world blends with the virtual one) blew his mind—it lets him play games while still seeing the room around him. It feels futuristic and safe, especially since he’s not completely blind to his surroundings. From a Parent’s Perspective: I was a bit cautious at first—mainly about screen time and safety—but I’ve been pleasantly surprised. There are solid parental controls, and I can set limits on how long he uses it and which apps he can access. He’s also gotten surprisingly active with some of the fitness and rhythm games. It’s not just couch time anymore—he’s up and moving, which I didn’t expect from a VR headset. Things to Know: • Comfort: It’s lighter and more comfortable than I expected, but we still bought the optional head strap for better support—worth it if your child uses it often. • Battery Life: It lasts about 2 to 3 hours, which is actually a blessing in disguise—it naturally limits long sessions. • Cost: At $499, it’s not cheap. But it feels like a good investment given how much use he’s getting out of it (and how much fun the rest of the family is having with it, too). Final Thoughts: If you’re on the fence about getting the Meta Quest 3 for your kid, I’d say go for it—especially if they’re into tech, games, or even just curious about VR. It’s more than a toy; it’s a full entertainment system, a way to get them moving, and honestly, a pretty cool family gadget.

I got this mainly to assist in meditation. It works great. Now that meta has added HDMI input through a capture card, I use it with my switch. I'm not big into the VR scene and prefer to use it for home theater type applications, it works great

no problems with the refurbished, couldn't even tell that it was ever used besides minor scratches and scuffs on the head strap which will be replaced by another, more comfortable one, overall massive upgrade from the quest 2 and pancake lenses are just a must.

Quest3 is definitely an improvement over the 2 that I'm coming from. Lens are better, PD adjustment is better, color passthrough. Lighter. Basically better in every way.

I like it, came in good condition. One thing i noticed off the top right away was the battery life is very short, so i will be purchasing an external battery head strap but battery lasts about an hour, and the gameplay is awesome. Cant wait to see how the future of gaming develops! Oh and i also can use it in passthrough to watch movies on a theater screen while im at work doing my tasks, love it!

Every thing is so much clearer, The controllers are easier to use due to there not being that ring thing in the way.

The Meta Quest 3 is an impressive leap forward in the realm of virtual reality. The enhanced visuals and improved processing power deliver a stunning immersive experience, making games and applications more vibrant and responsive than ever. The mixed reality capabilities are a standout feature, seamlessly blending the real world with digital elements. This opens up new possibilities for creative experiences and gameplay that feel fresh and innovative. Comfort is another strong point; the design is lightweight and well-balanced, allowing for extended sessions without discomfort. The intuitive controls are easy to grasp, making it accessible for both newcomers and seasoned VR enthusiasts. Overall, the Meta Quest 3 offers a remarkable blend of performance, comfort, and versatility, solidifying its place as a top choice for anyone looking to dive into the world of virtual reality. Highly recommended!

Works really well. Most affordable. Little consideration to testing what works when they release new updates. Often break things.

So far so good my only complaint is not enough battery life but man the going with the refurbished was a amazing choice it felt new straight from the factory so far so good haven't used it enough to fully say if it's a must have or not but for the price here you can't beat it

I have owned the original Quest, Quest 2, and now the Quest 3. I have always enjoyed the ability to play standalone and PC VR Gaming with Quest, but Quest 3 AR is a game changer! Walking around my home and interacting with virtual items in the real world is an experiance that words just can't express. Not only for video game entertainment, but other forms of entertainment like video streaming and producitivity applications. I find myself browsing the web, watching a CFB game, and watching my kids play their games on the living room flatscreen! For producitivty I use my Quest 3 as second virtual monitor on my PC. I never thought wearing a VR/AR headset would be so emersive and productive! Strongly recommend this game changing devices.

There is a notable pixel quality difference between the 2nd and this third gen headset. Runs smooth and the battery doesnt die as fast. Also, its compact size is eaier on the neck and head grip. Overall, great product compared to the other vr headsets for its value.

love it. you can fine tune your eyes much easier than the 3s. i returned the 3s in favor of this. the lenses have a larger sweet spot and the screen a higher resolution along with better control of your ipd settings. big improvement.
