Unfortunately, with an item like this, you need it. I definitely feel that it was overpriced considering it’s just this tiny little bezel. Other adapter kits come with many more parts and cost the same as this kit. As for looks, It doesn’t follow the curve of the dash so all four edges stick out slightly. Furthermore, the corners are very sharp. A rounded edge would’ve looked much nicer. Considering how much we spent on the stereo, it would’ve been nice if this bezel reflected the value of the stereo.

I had Best Buy install my radio and this fits perfectly into my 2009 Nissan Versa. Love that it has the extra pocket for an extra storage space!
