This is my 3rd Surface. I enjoy that I can use the Surface as a tablet or with a keyboard. I specially enjoy the pen. Microsoft has out did it again. Much better than the Apple tablet.

My old laptop kept saying update system but wouldn’t update, plus the SD card reader was acting up reading cards from game cameras. Wanted something similar. Was told to get an apple iPad. External SD wouldn’t read SD cards from game cameras. Changed it for a windows 11 tablet. Wanted a protection case (it didn’t come with screen protector + the external SD card reader wouldn’t plug into tablet with the protective case on). Exchange for one that would. Every time the computer shuts down there’s an error message, was told to delete Idrive.

Compact, light, powerful, great battery life. Everything you could ask for in an ultralight 2-in-1 device.

Amazing machine, Was looking to replace my old Surface and this is a major upgrade. The charging over USB-C is definitively useful for travel or places without a power outlet.

It’s just like the X. I don’t feel much of a change. But to be fair it’s still a great product.

Honestly, I’m upset with my purchase. I spent several thousand dollars on this surface pro and I genuinely wish I had gotten an iPad instead. I bought it so I could use design space and make drawings, I used to love drawing on my iPad, drawing on the surface can’t even compare to drawing on an iPad, the pen is awful, it barely writes and it’s hard to draw when accidentally touching the screen with my hand will make marks and mess up an entire drawing. Erasing especially on Microsoft paint is a nightmare. Over all the computer is expensive, slow and of poor quality. While I will say, Windows hello is awesome, the rest of the computer? Not worth the money and it doesn’t even come with the keyboard.

This computer is a "pocket rocket." The only "knock" is that the Core i7 processor is rather power hungry compared to the stablemate i5 chip. However, if your applications require the extra computing power (like processing 90+ mb digital images), the trade-off is a no brainer. So far, this "detachable keyboard laptop" has proved to be a very capable powerhouse. After researching the rather limited number of competitors for this type of computer, the Surface Pro was the clear standout in terms of available RAM, storage capacity, and accessories. Portability was also of paramount importance, and the Surface Pro certainly "fills the bill" in that regard. The display is amazing, and, if necessary, it is possible to add a second monitor if your requirements call for it. There are many peripherals available to help accomplish almost any ancillary task(s) you may need - this is truly a "do it all" option in the shape and size of a large tablet form factor that will give you nearly all the capabilities of a desktop computer. What are you waiting for? Go ahead, take the plunge!

Love the versatility of the modular configuration and the touch screen is very responsive. Lightweight and better for travel than my heavy laptop, albeit the much smaller screen is going to take some getting used to as well as the lack of ports -- easily remedied with a hub.

I given a Surface Pro 9 for work a few months ago with the Intel Core i7, 1TB HD and 32 gigs of RAM. It’s been such a great machine I purchased one for myself. It’s powerful, fast, and easy to carry around.

I love my new surface pro 9. It's powerful, small, and light weight. It's easy to put in a small bag to transport. Worth the purchase. I did also purchase a keyboard which is great as well.

Enjoying the Surface Pro 9 with 32G of ram. Battery life is great and love the 120hz refresh rate on the screen. Also purchased the keyboard with pen holder and like that the pen is always charged and available. Had used Surface Pro in the past for work but this is the first time for for a personal device. Very happy with the purchase.

Very pleased with this purchase! Replaced my Panasonic toughbook with this surface pro 9. The computer is extremely fast, durable with extra case and easy to use. I was hesitant to make this purchase as I was very concerned about switching to a tablet. With the extra keyboard I have found no difference between this being a tablet and a laptop.

One of the few things made by Microsoft that I would say is 99.5% perfect. I loved the Surface Pro 4 and I love this Surface Pro 9 even more. It just works! One or two tiny glitches, but overall, one of the best notebooks I have ever seen. I added a SanDisk 4TB external SSD on one USB C port and a Hyper docking station on the second USB C port so this awesome machine is now perfect enough to be used as my work laptop when I travel as a software consultant.

Great laptop. Hasn't had any issues. Powerful and portible. Adding the keyboard and pen seems necessary to make it more than just a tablet.
