I bought this controller specifically to play games on Steam with a Windows 10 laptop. So far so good! I don't have any free USB ports, so I have a USB-C dongle with extra ports and that's where I've plugged in the adapter. If there's any lag from that, I can't tell. It Seems to work perfectly. The controller seems to be sturdy and responsive thus far. The adapter is a solid little thing that won't get stuck in your USB port like those tiny mouse/keyboard adapters sometimes do. The home button glows pretty bright. I'm sure it would be distracting if my room were any darker. I do wish it were a little easier to turn off. I haven't found a way to turn the controller off from the computer (the option to turn off controller on Steam doesn't seem to register at all) and you have to hold down the home button for 7 to 10 seconds before it will turn off. It will turn off on its own after something like 2 minutes, but I'd like to conserve as much battery power as possible. It takes two AA batteries. The package includes one set of batteries, the controller, the adapter, and the tiny little adapter cover, along with warranty info and basic instructions on syncing and inserting batteries. The controller is about as comfortable to hold as other Xbox controllers and works well for my purposes so far.

The xbox wireless controller with adapter for Windows 10 is not as good as the older 360 models, but it generally works fine. I luckily have not had any stick drift after several months of using it heavily. The wireless portion will drop out sometimes and I've had to go into Device Manager to see that it's just not responding. I just remove and re-plug in the adapter and then reconnect. It does seem to need recharging more than the older models as well. I bought the plug and play charge kit as well to help with that. Overall, it's fine for gaming on pc.

Originally had a wired XBox 360 controller that worked really well, but the cable was a pain to deal with when I wasn't using it. Decided to pick up a wireless XBox controller based on how simple it was to set up and use the wired one. This product comes with a controller and a usb dongle to allow for connecting to a PC. Installation was super easy, just plug in the dongle and hold down the connection button until they were linked - no other set up necessary. I was able to boot up Dead Cells, Salt and Sanctuary, Hollow Knight, and Monster Hunter World and use the controller without any issues. The controller itself feels well built (already dropped it a few times) and is light but not flimsy. Controls are responsive and there doesn't seem to be a lot of input lag. If you play a lot of platformers or console ports, I would definitely suggest getting this controller.

Easy setup... I just plugged in the USB and **BAM** it was working. It came with a charge so it worked right out of the box. I didn't have to configure anything. I use it with my games on Steam and have no issues as long as the game recognizes a game controller for PC. I play a lot of Golf games and it works beautifully with them.

Pros, 1. Works on both a PC and an XBOX ONE and newer. 2. I responsive controller. 3. Better than most generic brands if not the best, I've never used a generic controller that worked and felt as good as the XBOX controller does. 4. With the newest Windows 10 patch it works well(also this will be under cons). 5. This is the biggest pro, it works with a Blu-tooth system. 6. Comes with a receiver for PCs that don't have a Blu-tooth controller. Cons, 1. As usual it's a ripoff like most console controllers are. These are so cheap to manufacture yet always so expensive. 2. Because of the newest Windows update unless you're good at following instructions you're kind of forced to get this controller because the older XBOXS controller isn't properly supported with the newest drivers and requires a detailed list of hack to make work and this is why I said unless you're good at following instruction. I went to setup an older XBOX controller and for all the grief it took me to do it I was tempted to just tell the person I did it for to buy the newest controller. If you want that console experience on a PC I can recommend this control for easy setup especially if you have Blu-tooth. Thankfully I prefer the keyboard and mouse method for gaming :).

I wanted to get the wireless adapter for a few reasons. 1, you can connect up to 8 controllers with it (that number changes if using other peripherals like headsets excetera.) 2, you can plug in headphones into controller and windows automatically routes all audio through controller. 3, yes you can connect via Bluetooth but you can get lag and dropouts if playing across a room like my setup. Computer in office and tv next room over connected to the via HDMI. 4, USB extension for adapter is useful especially for setup like mine. 5, controller works flawless. Plus when using wireless adapter you can download the software via MS store and update software and see battery level. (You can update and configure via Bluetooth but cannot see battery level.) Over all I enjoy this product. It works as intended.

I needed a second controller for my wife to use playing games on our PC. This package comes with the receiver for multiple controllers to be used on the same PC. It's a straight up plug and play. If you need to pair other controllers, it's a simple touch of the tip of the receiver and the pairing button of the controller, and you're good to go. It works as advertised, so no complaints.

The xbox one controller is pretty much just an updated x360 controller. All the same functionality updated looks while retaining most of the old feel. I say most of the old feel as the new controller is just a little bit different but not to a degree that its unfamiliar in your hands. If you ever games with the original x360 controller then getting this to update your PC experience will feel right at home.

Bought this for some PC games since I’m not good with a mouse and keyboard. The controller pairs easily with the single, and I have no connectivity issues. I had the old single, so I’m glad this one is much smaller. Since this is an Xbox controller, it works perfectly for modern titles that support it (older ones didn’t always support them) and I can still use it on my Xbox. Also, no wires to snag up, but make sure to get rechargeable batteries. I was able to buy this open box and on sale which is great, and I couldn’t even tell it was used. Highly recommend!

This is an excellent wireless controller for the computer. Works flawlessly with Windows 10. I use it to play games like mortal Kombat 11 through steam on my PC. works much better than the Bluetooth controller that I got a few years back for the same reasons for mortal Kombat x. Would buy again

Easy to connect old controllers to PC (since old ones don’t have Bluetooth). The controller was of course better. I’ve had the original controllers stock (day 1 of release). Can’t go wrong with upgrading your controller. Also I can’t wait for the next gen Xbox to release!

The most obvious issue is the fact that this thing is way overpriced. Besides that it feels very good to hold, preferring this over the PS4 controller... I do own both. I use this for my PC since I am tired of using DS4 Windows and spent the extra money merely for quality of life and to play Sekiro wireless. The bottom right analog stick now has an issue where if I barely touch it, it makes the camera of the video game tilt down which is incredibly annoying. This was fixed after applying extreme force on the analog stick, which probably took around 20 minutes. I will stick by my statement that this is a great feeling controller, but many people including myself, have mechanical issues. My issue arose only after 3 weeks of usage.

the best controller to use on a pc. almost all games are made for the xbox controller and pre-setup to run out of the box. i use mine on the home theater pc without having to worry about tripping over cords.

purchased this to use with an iPad pro and a windows pc and it works as intended. The dongle is for usb connection to pc and works very effectively. Of course it also doubles as an extra controller for my xbox . No lag. Easy to switch between devices as well.

I only play on PC with keyboard and mouse but some indies and visual novel games are better with a controller so based on a lot of recommendations, I bought the XBox One controller. It paired with my PC easily, and the latency (even with just bluetooth) was low enough for the type of games mentioned earlier. The wireless adapter caused several BSOD on my desktop so I thought it was defective but it was a problem with my desktop. After reinstalling windows on a new ssd, I can use the wireless adapter but to be honest, Bluetooth is good enough for what I use it for.

Needed the dongle, for not much more, I got a new controller too. Works seamlessly with windows on Razor Blade gaming laptop. Makes games much easier to control.
