Q: Can the camera be used with a tripod?
A: This camera can be mounted to a tripod.
Q: Does this kit come with a battery charger?
A: No...and yes. The battery is charged in the camera using a standard USB-C cable (provided). The included setup guides suggests any USB-C charger meeting PD standards, 27 Watts (9V/3A). The EN-EL25a requires the MH-32 battery charger. It is not yet listed on either the Best Buy or Nikon sites. It also mentions an EH-8P AC adapter which I cannot locate on either the Nikon or Best Buy sites. I have only used the onboard charger so far. Takes about an hour with a standard 30W wall wart to reach full charge. I have an Anker PD compatible charger ordered for a more permanent charging solution and also to provide an AC adapter eliminating the need for a battery. But I will also purchase one of the chargers mentioned by Nikon as an offboard solution so I don't have to leave the camera out and attached.
Q: what size memory card is needed?
A: Most sizes will work but you need the XC version to get faster shutter speeds per the manual

Customers love the Z50II Mirrorless Camera for its excellent image quality and user-friendly design, making it easy to understand and operate. The camera's lightweight nature is also appreciated by users. However, some customers have expressed concerns about the camera's battery life.
I've had multiple SLR cameras over the years. I am 71 years young and just bought the best Nikon I've ever had. And, I purchased the Z50II mirrorless camera with two lens kit. One of my worst problems with previous cameras was getting the focus right. This camera has a really intelligent focusing system. When I shoot pictures of my kids and grandkids, I can see multiple areas (usually the facial expressions or the eyes) that are being used for focusing on the subject(s). Another feature I really enjoy is that the built-in flash is rarely needed to fill in a flash so the subject is bright enough. The camera automatically senses the amount of light required and adjusts either (or both) the aperture or the shutter speed to allow the clearest, cleanest view of the subject. So far, I've only been using the automatic feature. I'm guessing I will start using the other extremely beneficial modes in the near future. It is true that good things can come in small packages. I thoroughly enjoy using this camera. And, I suspect you will too!

I really like this bundle that came with 2 lenses. It's a good beginner bundle. I like the mirrorless camera, and I like how lightweight it is. I am able to carry this around in a smaller camera bag, I hate the bulky ones. I like the preset filter option to shoot in different filters. The autofocus is pretty good for instant exposure. I haven't had the chance to look at video yet but I am enjoying shooting with it. I also like the digital photo transfer option on the Nikon app Snapbridge that let's me get my photos wirelessly through wifi.

I recently purchased the Nikon Z50 II two-lens camera kit, and I am beyond impressed! Every part of this kit is thoughtfully designed, and the performance is truly outstanding. The image quality is stunning, with sharp resolution and vibrant colors that bring every shot to life. Both lenses included in the kit are incredibly versatile and deliver excellent clarity across a range of conditions. One unexpected but pleasantly surprising feature I discovered after purchasing was the touchscreen display. I didn’t know it had that, and it’s been a fantastic addition that makes navigating settings and reviewing photos much easier. What I love most is how lightweight, compact, and stylish the camera is, perfect for travel, casual photography, or even more serious work. It’s also super easy to use, even for beginners. Overall, this camera has exceeded my expectations in every way and has made photography more fun and rewarding. Highly recommended!
