Bastet wine goblet chalice. Measures approximately 6.75 inches tall and 3 inches wide, holds 7oz capacity. Made of designer composite resin, hand painted and polished. Removable stainless steel insert for hand washing only. Bastet was originally a fierce lioness warrior goddess of the sun worshiped throughout most of ancient Egyptian history, but later she was changed into the cat goddess that we are familiar with today. She was seen as defender of the pharaoh, and consequently the sun god, Ra.
