A great small, lightweight camera with a terrific zoom lens built in. Used for wildlife stills & video on a trip & it performed very well Only issue is manual that comes with it has very limited information. Just wish it had WiFi!

This camera is great for beginners. Someone like me who never had a “professional” camera before, I was able to navigate the screen pretty easily. The zoom was incredible! I took pictures for my boyfriend’s graduation and I think for a beginner they came out very nice. Since I was new to this, I didn’t know what the ISO meant, so the pictures I attached are very grainy in some, and have different lighting. I did my research online and now I have a better understanding of the camera. It’s great for well lit areas, but if you know how to use the settings it just right, and maybe edit the photos (i don’t just yet) your photos will come out looking professional!!

I purchased this camera back in May of this year then returned it shortly afterwards because it isn’t WiFi enabled. However, I really enjoyed everything else about this camera, so I’ve repurchased it. The battery life is good and the extended zoom is very nice.

Honestly love this. Not big into photography or anything, but it has great zoom and takes decent pictures for the price.

Awesome starter camera! I purchased the camera for the purpose of sports photography. I was still learning about photography and knew nothing about changing out lenses. The zoom capability is amazing and allows me to catch irreplaceable shots of youth football.

I needed a reasonably priced camera that can take 4K videos with optical zoom capabilities. 4K cameras these days are so expensive and if you want it cheap, you would go with unknown brands. This camera is from Panasonic, is well reviewed in in YouTube, records in 4k, and does 60x Optical Zoom. The Zoom on this camera is more than I expected. The 4K videos are sharp and the colors are fantastic. It's not heavy at all, just a bit bulky because of it's zoom lens, but it is very comfortable to hold. It is a good camera to take on travels -- to capture images that your phone's camera can't zoom in.

Bought this after a long time of looking for a well-priced bridge camera. While it works quite well with what I need, there are a few downsides I find quite annoying. Sometimes the zoom just doesn't wanna work, refusing to focus on the subject automatically no matter what setting I put it on. And it's not a distance thing; it just doesn't like focusing on it. Speaking of focusing distance, I mostly got this to be able to photograph wildlife and insects, but it struggles massively to photograph small insects because the camera requires inches of extra space between the zoom and the subject, making it quite inconvenient. Also, it struggles a large amount with dark lighting; photos it can take have large amounts of noise, and it struggles insanely badly to focus, even if the subject is glowing like the moon. Takes great photos in the day, however. Outside of that, a fun camera to walk around outside with. I like the convenient charging ability through the cable as someone who's mostly used older cameras where I removed the battery to charge them. Nice to carry around a portable charger with it :)

I’ve been using the Panasonic LUMIX FZ80D for a little over a month, and it has been an amazing camera for travel, concerts, and everyday personal photos. It’s incredibly easy to use; even my 7-year-old daughter can use it without any trouble. The zoom and focus are excellent, and the 60x zoom really makes a huge difference when capturing far-away details. The image quality is great, and I was especially impressed with how well it performs in low-light situations, like concerts or evening shots. Everything comes out clear and sharp. I haven’t run into any issues or frustrations at all. It’s really a perfect point-and-shoot camera for beginners, travelers, and anyone who wants great photos without learning complicated settings. Highly recommend!

As a Sony a73, a74, a75, and a7R5 owner, it can be combersome to travel around with all that heavy gear, and sometimes I'm not interested in taking professional grade photos. Sometimes I just want to stroll through town with a camera in hand that has the most important thing to me, reach. I want to be able to capture things the naked eye can't see, things that even my Pixel 10 Pro 10x zoom can't touch, and that's where this camera finds it place. It's not a professional kit, but it will produce professional photos if used properly. The computational photography that's included on-board is fascinating, my Sony's and OM-1 don't offer these features, as they're geared towards professionals who are editing their images for production. This camera makes it easy, and if you can find it half off open box, do it.

This is a budget friendly camera that is perfect for a beginner and/or casual photographer. The zoom is amazing, especially for moon photos. It takes a little time to learn the menus, but it even works well if you just want to stay on auto. I take most of my photos in Aperture Priority mode.

I’m used to a smaller point and shoot, and I worried I wouldn’t like the size of this one. As it turns out, I added a neck strap to it, and it works just fine with that. I like the larger grip that makes it easy to hold onto. The zoom lens is amazing.

This camera is great! It’s simple to use right out of the box. I had my doubts but pleasantly surprised how great the photo quality is with this little camera. The SIM card attaches to a usb adapter to transfer the images to a computer. It seems a little outdated but the affordable price and image quality make up for it.

I upgraded from a small Point/Shoot with 40 zoom to this camera. This one took a little getting used to. There are more bells/whistles, it's bulkier, and I had to keep remembering to take the lens cap off, my previous point/shoot didn't have one. All in all I've been happy with it.

I would highly recommend this camera. I wanted to get into photography and bought this after being recommended by a Best Buy employee. So happy I listened. Great photos, awesome and easy to use camera

The LUMIXFZ80D has lots of features in a small package. Looks to be a pretty nice camera for travel.

This is like a top tier cellphone camera but with a x60 optical zoom so yes you can get some awesome shots that no one will get with a phone with proper editing

I was looking for a relatively basic camera as I have not purchased one in almost 20 years. This camera met most of my criteria however I found that the number of settings is still overwhelming for someone who knows little about photography which could have been made easier to digest with a more detailed user manual and/or a high-level overview by an experienced Best Buy staff member.

Bought this used for half the price. So far working well. Only thing didn't have a manual. But overall happy with my purchase. Would recommend and buy again.
