Pretty cool light strip! Couple things I want to mention which make it 4/5 stars. It's been a few weeks since I've owned these lights and got to play around with them a bit. You can see each led bulb as a reflection, so I feel it doesn't blend the color as well as my other strip lights. I really like the hue app, simple and easy to use. The fact that you don't need a bridge or wifi is nice! However, there's been a few times where the lights are unresponsive and I've had to unplug and plug back in the outlet to get them to respond. Also, for the price I would of preferred the lights to be multicolor, but you can only light 1 solid color at a time. Other than that, these are great lights and if you were to add more Phillips hue lights to your home, it would be of ease. I think I will stick with my Lifx lights especially if they ever come back in stock, but you can't go wrong with Phillips Hue.

We have several hue lights, added hue as the light strip because you can control with my voice and have it in multiple colors. The light strip by itself is easy to install. We needed to split the light strip to install under our cabinets. I was unable to find a hue solution for splitting the lights. It was difficult to use the 3rd party parts. We eventually figured it out and we are happy with the results.

I can honestly say that at first glance I wasn't completely sold on whether or not this Philips Hue light strip would serve to address my particular need. I'm old school sneaker head from the 80's. If you know anything about the urban phenomenon that is the collection of sneakers they are important to us. Even I, one year short of my 60th birthday I continue to collect. I just finished purchasing clear containers so can put my latest acquisition of sneakers. But I noticed I was missing something. That something turned out to be proper lightning. Let the pics I took, do the rest of the talking for me.

I really like these Philips Hue light strips. They are easy to set up in the mobile app. The colors are great. The only negative I have is the sticky tape that is on it is very week. Does not hold for longer than 15 minutes. Needs stronger adhesive. Pictures are after it started to fall. Cabinets were cleaned really good, but the adhesion still failed. I’d recommend finding some type of screw on bracket to hold on underside of cabinets.

With Bluetooth capability, you do not need a bridge and can control with an app on phone or tablet. Perfect for over a desk to add task lighting in additional to different modes available. Easy to install and perfect for the purpose. Price was a little steep but in the end worth the cost considering form and function.

These lights were the finishing touch to my theater lighting. They are bright and work really well with the Hue Sync Box which I bundled and got a discount. I have a few more areas in my living where the light strips would look great. I would definitely recommend. Cheers!

Great amount of brightness and color. The adhesive material could use some improvements. While remove the protective backing some of the adhesive came off as well.
Installed mine using command strips instead of peeling the backs off the LED strip and they are a great addition to my game room! Very bright and I do have an extension on it, hoping to get one more to create a giant 160” strip. The reason I give it 4 stars is because on the app when you choose whatever color you want that’s in the circular spectrum, I try to select the darkest color of each section (dark blue, dark red, dark yellow, etc.) and then the app just automatically readjusts it to the lighter section/color which is weird? I’ve updated it but still the issue exists. Besides this tiny flaw, I would highly recommend!

We bought this and was immediately blown away fell down the Hue rabbit hole. It’s been a fun but pricey ride thus far! A few things to note this works best with the hue bridge (tho it’s not entirely necessary with the Bluetooth app). You may also want to research this strip vs the gradient strip to make sure you know what your purchasing. This is the cherry on top of an awesome home theater set up! The whole family is in love!

I’ve used these Philips Hue Lightstrips in several areas; around the back of my headboard and as under-cabinet lighting in my kitchen. These lights work fantastically for both purposes. My only complaints are that sometimes the sticky backing that holds them in place wears out, so they peel off a little, but that’s not a huge problem. I wish they made a version that didn’t quite look as much like cheap rope lights, though. If you see the lights from below my cabinets, they look cheap. But from above it’s exactly what I was looking for! And if you connect them to a virtual assistant, turning the kitchen lights on when you have armfuls of groceries is super handy.

For the price of around $99, these lights were a great addition to our game room. My only complaint is that they are completely manual in that you must change the color and turn on / off without any camera to change the lighting for the images on the screen. I still gave it 5 stars though because of how cool they are, and there are plenty of settings and routines to choose from. Beautiful.

Over the years I have swapped out every light bulb in my home with hue bulbs. This allows me to control the lights and change the colors in any way I want. It's awesome. I also have been adding these strip lights. I have been adding them behind my TV's and now under my desk. I love the glow the lights give off and it really helps me get in the mood to edit. It's also super nice to set the colors for whatever holiday is coming up. Would I recommend the hue strip? Oh heck yeah. It's super cool.

If you are already on the Hue eco system then it is a good to add to it. Can be used using Bluetooth also, but i am using with HUE bridge 2. This works flawlessly and pleasant especially during holiday season. But there are many similar(with limited functions) competitor products available for lot less. Evaluate them before you buy this.

Excellent for ambience, used for a bunk bed and my kids love it. Cycles through all colors

Love the light strips. My only complaint is that the sticky tape is not very strong. It kept falling off the back of my TV, so I had to use additional tape other than the ones that came with hue. Also….it’s easier to put on the back of the TV before you mount the strip to the TV. I also put them on my headboard and had no problems.

Love the lights, added to movie room for accent lighting in addition to the gradient strip on the TV. A little pricy tho.

I really like Phillips products, especially the bendable and malleableness of the wire lights. My kids love how they light up behind the OLED in our front room. The app is very user friendly and connects with other Phillips lights in our house. I then placed my wine barrel bar.

Works great! Placed them under the cabinets in the kitchen. Took 3 boxes plus one extension which is pricey but well worth it. Didn’t think it would make a huge improvement to the kitchen but it does. Well worth the purchase.

Great lightstrip installed undercounter and integrated easily to my hue system, now with 3 bridges with over 120 various lights, inside and outside the home. Rock solid and easy operation and customization.

I was impressed over the strength of the lights...took most of the wall (I put it behind my 75 inch tv) The color is gorgeous Yes, they’re pricey but you get what you pay for.
