Q: How long on average does this installation take?
A: It really doesn't take that long, less than 3 hours, but getting the appointment from Best Buy to actually get it installed can take a while -- so plan ahead.
A: I have no idea why the specs don't say it, but it does indeed play CDs and DVDs.
Q: Is this unit compatible with 16 Tacoma’s back up camera system?
A: Yes, this is compatible for 16 Tacoma’s back up camera system.
Q: Will it be compatible and fit 2014 jeep wrangler
A: Yes, this will be compatible and fit with a 2014 Jeep Wrangler.
A: The installer just plugged the unit to my new cars system. Ask the installer at your store.
Q: Will this fit a 2003 F250 Super Duty?
A: Yes, it fits a 2003 (Ford) F250 Super Duty.
A: I just installed it into a 2014 Tacoma. You will most likely need an adapter to plug it into the rear view camera and there is a programmable device, I believe it is made by Matrix, that you can buy to make it compatible with the steering wheel controls. This is normal add-ons that have to be bought when replacing a stock head unit with an aftermarket one.
Q: How do you Update the maps? And, is it free?
A: The maps just update themselves. There is no charge. Occasionally, a map will be out-of-date, but that is usually because of new road construction or unexpected road closures.
