I got this because I didn’t want to keep having to remove the case from my phone every time I want to fly my mavic pro. It works great and fits snug to the controller and is also stable when you put it on the ground for whatever reason. I had to buy a 10” cable for my setup. You can get away with the cable that came with your phone but I like the cleaner look of the short cable. Another thing I like is I can still see the lcd screen on the controller. Some mounts that attach from the bottom completely hide the screen which has useful flight info.

It didn't fit the Mavic mini remote out of the box. Having flown drones since the Phantom, I missed having the screen above the sticks and not below. Desperate to make it work for me, I added some velcro straps, which allows me to enjoy the screen being closer to my eyes while I fly. I was never a fan of the Mavic controller design. I see that the Mavic 2 Air, DJI finally went back to having the screen above the sticks.

Doesn't clip on to my remote and doesn't hold my IPhone 8S or my Small LG 5 securely. If I still had the box I would have returned it. Waste of money. BTW, when switching to one of these, get a longer cord! Right angled

Looking for a better mount to use with mi Mavic RC and I found this one. I kind of like it but there is something that bother me : too close to the antennas and you don't have room to adjust it, but it's much better than the RC factory mount.

I saw this item as I was browsing the store and I decided to check it out. I already have a Mav mount but it is a little bulky. This mount by PolarPro is a lot smaller. It works absolutely fantastic. Great mount very small and is a great alternative to attach your phone to the controller.

I've had and used the Mavic Pro since launch, and with my S7 Edge, I'd have to take it out of the case (otterbox) but it worked well. Since upgrading to the Note 8, which wouldn't fit even without a case, I've had to sit down while flying and have the phone on my lap. Which was less than ideal. Saw this little guy in store, associate let me take it out of box to check for fit and function. Holds my Note 8 with otterbox defender, just barely which is great because its a very tight hold. Also like how it holds the phone above the controller, vs below. I started with DJI solo and phantom, and this style was used and I prefer it.

It works well but I have to remove phone from folio case. I wish they made one that would hold phone length way instead of width so I didnt have to remove the folio case every time. It does hold the phone well and the locknut keeps the phone feom swiveling.

Great for me as I have a life proof case on my iPhone and it allows me to use my phone without taking the case off each time!

i like this PolarPro iPhone mount. it is a good product, it holds the phone very well even if is in a case. I feel that my iPhone is more secure in this accessory. A must-have if you're a Mavic Pro owner.

The one thing I dislike with the Mavic Pro controller is fumbling around trying to fit and connect my iPhone in the handgrips, when I do I have to remove my case. Also it limits access to the home button. This seemed to be a great option, plus it gives me the feel, look of my other drone - having the device above the actual controller, I don't have to remove the case and I have full access to the entire phone. The grip of the mount to the phone is rubber and feels pretty good. The clip to the Mavic controller feels ok, some slight movement but not to the point where it feels like it's going to dislodge and fall to the ground. The biggest downfall for me is the screw on of the clip to the iPhone grip. This feels like it just comes loose on every flight swiveling the phone slightly. No matter how much I tighten it, I end up having to tighten it again after one flight Since the screw is pretty long, there is no fear of it coming detached with the phone grip potion coming apart. It's just a slight annoyance right now. The $24.99 price, I do feel it's a bit pricy for this no so perfect construction. Since a lot of Mavic Pro accessories are dropping in price (this one hasn't - yet) because of the soon to be announced Mavic 2, I WOULD wait to see if this product drops in price as well. BUT if having the phone or small tablet jammed into the hands of the controller does drive you nuts - like it did for me. I would still recommend this overall.

I bought this phone mount because with my Note 3, I was having issues keeping the usb connected. This mount allows for better viewing in my opinion, and i can use a 10" cord that I don't have to worry about keeping connected. Gave 4 stars because it can be so I slighty difficult to tighten up.

Get's old having to fumble with getting the phone seated in the control arms. Also, when you have a $1000 device you keep a case on it; with this attachment you do not have to remove a otter box case or work at getting it plugged in. Also with virtual buttons on the device they are not covered up and makes using the phone so much easier.

Great addition to the drone. My husband was very thrilled to get this to add to the remote of the drone. Makes it much easier to handle.

This ismy second or 3rd polar pro accessory for my mavic. All of thier products are made thoughtfully with quality materials. This holder elimanates the awkward caseless flat installation of a phone as the media device for mavic flights. It aligns sight to a single area for controller and display controls quickly and allows you to keep your phone in the case. There multiple configurations id you prefer flat installariom. IMO it is well worth the cost and case space.

It's a solid mount, well made and feels professional. It's limited in size however, so don't expect to use an iPad mini or something like that.

It clips on easily and works well. It is a little flimsy though and can be knocked off easily.

Good idea and well made. But thought wewould’ve usd it more. But its at the bottom of our list for accessories needed. I would recommend only if you feel the orientation would be better.

This is my “go to” phone mount for my iPhone Plus. It works great and the phone is positioned when I can still see the remote control display. Easy to put on and my phone doesn’t wobble while using the controller. Great product!

Works ok to hold my slightly larger then average phone (Note8). But the angle is not adjustable and its quick to come loose
