I really like the longer life of the new Gopro 9 battery. This really allows more video time between replacement during filming. I also, like that they added the distinguishing blue accent trim. Which helps with quickly identifying it, when you are running multiple gopros (older versions with small batteries). You can see with the photos how much bigger and more easily i can pull out a gopro 9 battery from others. An always having extra batteries on hand is must for long kayaking and vacationing trips.

Nice to have extra spare on the road for your go pro!

Bought this extra battery for my GoPro 10 used it one time to where it had about 10% life in it. I put it on the charger with two other batteries to charge, The two after market batteries charged up to 100%. The GoPro battery I bought from BB after 3 days on the charger would not take a 100% charge. The most I got was 90%. I think BB owes me a replacement for this defective battery!

I originally bought this additional GoPro charger because I was concerned about my other chargers dying fast on a trip. To get to the point, the charger is amazing. It charges fast, easy to use, and it’s very affordable. It’s always good to have more than 2 chargers for the “just in case” means and getting them in singles are the way to go. Because their so affordable, I suggest buying a few just to have as an extra.

Long charge life, compact, and the price is right. Most outfits make their money off of rechargeable batteries. Value to price is right here.

Got it. Charged it. Used it. Works just as well as the one that came with the camera. I'm surprised how long these last. I took my GoPro 9 for a walk. Filming at 2.7K, it lasted the whole 1 hour walk, under tropical sun and still had around 15% to spare. I'm sure it would be a little lower if I turned on the electronic stabilization on. Yeah... buy a spare. I'll likely get another one.

Extra batteries for the trip!! Never miss a moment

I've bought many third - party batteries for a multitude of cameras and I've learned the hard way that if they fail, you're in trouble. A swollen battery can become lodged in your camera so tightly that you can't get it out unless you risk structural damage to the camera itself. I've had several swollen battery incidents, but I was lucky enough to not have them self - wedge into the camera. Although more expensive, stick with the brand name battery. The little bit of money you think you are saving may not be worth it after all. As for the GoPro battery, it's worked every time and I've never had to worry about it.

Does what it’s supposed to do. Not too big. Holds a good charge. I personally have 3 batteries so it’s more than enough for a long day of shooting video.

Can’t have enough spare batteries if you own a GoPro. At least the prices dropped from what they use to be. I also recommend getting the dual charger for the hero 9

Very universal now. Works with hero 7 and 8. And so much cheaper than when it first came out.
