I got in the Black Friday and I got it in the day that I say the delivery.

Prior to RE7, the series fell flat as it strayed away from its horror roots and started focusing more on the action aspect instead. With RE7, I can gladly say that the gameplay and overall direction has returned back more towards its horror roots. What makes this purchase more fulfilling is the fact that all of the DLC is bundled with it. Overall, great story. Enjoyed the pacing of the game and has that rushing feeling of not wanting to die in various moments throughout the game. If you haven't played this already, what's stopping you?

This is a great game. It's a complete departure from traditional RE games in the sense of the 1st person view but if you enjoy the original series I'd say you would enjoy this. Less action and more dread.

This is my first time playing Resident Evil 7. It took a bit getting used to the 1st person view perspective. Once, you're used to it, it works pretty good. It becomes a nuisance in a couple scripted scenarios. There are some parts where you're fighting an enemy in tight space and I found myself running into walls and not quite making the turns as fluid as in other 1st person games. The story is engaging. The characters (Baker family) are a bit over the top. However, the game had my genuinely curious as to what the heck was going and how it all happened. If you don't like Resident Evil games, don't know if this will change your mind. If you like them, this game has an interest for you. It's fun, not as good as Resident Evil 2 remake (in my opinion). Haven't made it to the additional content included in the gold edition. Good buy.

RE7 is an excellent Survival Horror game. The first person gameplay catching you on the story and scary scenes.

Resident Evil has always been a personal favorite of mine, Despite the fact that 5 and 6 weren't that great. 7 exists as a pseudo-reboot with loose connections to the original games (aside from the ending DLC). This is a scary and gorgeous horror game and the Gold Edition includes all of the DLC content for the game, making this the definitive version to get.

Resident Evil looks amazing when played on an Xbox One X. Fans of past games will not be disappointed as the game goes back to it's horror roots over the latest resident evil series games that focused more on the action aspect. Would definitely recommend this game to anyone who loves horror.

I been a Resident Evil fan since the late 90s. The first few games of the series were solid to good games, except Resident Evil 4. Resident Evil 4 was superb and that game passes the test of time; however, that was the last good Resident Evil game. The other in the franchise were disappointing, at best. However, Resident Evil 7 is the exception. With this entry, the series returns to horror survival and it is a well made survival horror game. The scares are there and so is the anxiety that one may not have enough ammunition. The game is not too difficult either.

Love that the PS games are on Xbox. One of the only reasons I bought the Xbox was because of this game. Have not got too far, because it terrifies me.

Resident Evil 7 takes the series back to it's survival horror roots that were largely changed in RE5 and RE6. This game takes the terror to a new level and looks and plays great on the Xbox One X. I also have played this on the PS4 Pro with the Playstation VR and that is an experience not for the faint of heart.

great graphics, good story line and lots of jump scares in addition to the building suspense you'd expect from the series.

Gone is the gimmicky nonsense in RE6. This is much more intense. I returned the PSVR version because I was too scared

He hasn't had a chance to play it yet but I got it for deal of the day. It was a great deal and I heard this is a really good game. It has first-person perspective and solid jump scares. There are creepy distant noises. There are lack of items and ammunition which makes a good survival hard game.

Fun game! You have to creep around trying to find your friend that’s went to the dark side.

The game is awesome and with all the DLC included sweetens the deal.

With stellar graphics and a dedication to the first person perspective this game will get your blood pumping! Story is well told and includes all DLC and content added to the game afterwards. Awesome package at any price!

Welcome back to the world of survival horror return to form

I really don’t have any gripes with Resident Evil 7. The story hooked me, it’s beautiful to look at, and the gameplay is new and refreshing with sprinkles of homage to franchise signatures… whats not to like?

Resident Evil is a great looking game and this one delivers with some very creepy visuals and intense survival horror. This edition was loaded with DLC included that makes it an even better deal.

As advertised and much more. Totally awesome game.
