Hi Frank.

At Ring, we appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are glad to read that you are enjoying your new Ring Battery-Powered LED Smart Spotlight! Furthermore, we believe in keeping people close to what’s important. That is why we are driven to create products that help you protect what matters most at home and empower you to connect with your visitors from wherever you are. Together, we’ll make neighborhoods safer!

If your Ring Battery-Powered LED Smart Spotlight is turning on during daytime, this is likely due to your light sensor settings. Check your Ring app and make sure the light sensor is enabled, which will prevent the light from activating when it's bright outside. You can adjust the light sensor threshold to be as low as possible for desired performance. Additionally, you may want to check your motion sensor sensitivity settings and set them to low or as low as possible while still detecting relevant motion.
